Poll topic: Current poll figure is just a little bit lower than I think the actual ratio of female to male members on this forum is (probably around the 1:8 mark maybe even as high as 1:5, poll is currently 1:9.15).

Interesting Comiket factoid some may find interesting: The ratio of female vs male circle members attending Comiket over it's 30 year history review was 71% Female, 29% Male. Overall participants were 57% Female, 43% Male. Out of all the booths, 41% were Manga, 30% Games, 9% Anime, 20% Other (including movies, music, etc).

There's a good chance that a Doujinshi somebody here may have just read that came from Comiket originally was written by a member of the Female persuasion.

In case anybody doesn't know what Comiket is: It's just _THE_ largest comic book fair in the world, dealing in doujinshi of all forms. It's held twice a year in Tokyo. Info here: http://www.comiket.co.jp/index_e.html

That is interesting. In the end, there is quite the strong female fan base. Really makes one question the pole results.

Considering the statistics for Comiket, there's a good chance many of the girls on HF lied or didn't vote. Not that I'm surprised by that, after all, saying your a female around guys on a hentai forum board could lead to problems.
