For Those who want to try it in English Version

Originally Upload by "ichigo" and here is his post:

For everyone that wants to play with Miku, Rin, and Len in ENGLISH with a fully functional english interface, here you go. I tested it, retested it and blew up my PC playing with it so damn much, so I know it works. Included are the installs for Hatsune Miku, Kagamine Rin and Len, and Prima (English version of Vocaloid2), just follow the directions and PLEASE make sure you do not install from a network drive, as some of the installs will fail :I...

For support/help/other stuff, see the installation.txt or visit #ZOMGWTFBBQ on rizon for the time being. Also theres a thread on the dat forums :
http://www.datorrents.com/forums/computers-mirc-photoshop-44/11141-ichigos-unoffical-vocaloid2-support-fun-thread/

Anyway, Installation directions included, please follow them, I didnt write them for my health.

Hmm I dont think there was a English Interface patch for Japanese Vocaloid2(Already make a change inside software) So the only way to get it is download English version full.

It's not an interface patch, basically its a full install of Miku then Rin/Len, and then English Vocaloid2 (Prima) on top of it all, allowing access to ALL the singers with the english interface ;)

~ ichigo was taken here of course, but ahh well :)

Thats it in a nutshell :) Hope everyone enjoys it~

ummm you do realize Vocaloid 2 was originally programmed in English, so if you Delete:

1. vedit2_Japanese.dll
2. SingerEditor2_Japanese.dll
3. Activate2_Japanese.dll
4. VOCALOID2_Japanese.dll

The program defaults back to English..... >:D Silly peeps!

she still can't pronounce english unfortunatelyIndeed. The phonemes library for Miku is in Japanese only, so you have three options:

- use Miku for Japanese songs only
- approximate English pronunciation (will sound extremely weird, trust me ^_^)
- get an English voice library (won't be Miku, though... Prima or whatever)

Same goes for Rin and Len.

This is a virtual voice simulator made by CRYPTON FUTURE MEDIA where they records sounds from singer/voice actress before hand then allows user to generate a song from the database.
So to your question, it is not OST or Anime, it is a software. これは OST/アニメ じゃない!software です

I've got a question about Vocaloid in general.

I'm really not too concerned about the singing aspect of this program but I was just wondering if it does well as a music synthesizer. I just really want to have a proggy to synthesize instrumental music and I wonder if Vocaloid can do that much or if there's something better.

I might do the singing part later, but I don't know much Japanese so it would be pointless.

Edit: found out myself by dling just Hastune Miku... >_>;; doesn't do instruments. I guess it just imports music and you do the voice. Darn!

well in the end i uninstalled it completely...
i think i saw a post mentioning that you don't need prima to switch vocaloid UI to english, all you need is to change an entry in an ini... i just don't remember where it was >.<
I'll edit my post if i find the post...

edit: found it. here is the post (http://www.hongfire.com/forum/showpost.php?p=1412269&postcount=25). The link is outdated though, here (http://www.mikumiku.info/?p=184) is the newer version that should work for Miku/Rin/Len

Is there a youtube video that shows how they should sound in English?

Think I might've installed incorrectly; had to get each install from a different source since I had downloading and torrent problems >>.

Edit: Never mind xD;. I realized how Vocaloid works now; they still don't sing in English.

how do you go about uninstalling this. I tried to uninstall it to do a fresh install but the only way I could was through add/remove which showed the vocaloid components as only about 19mb~ (4 of em). I uninstalled it anyway but my disk space wasnt cleared and the 1.2Gs or so of disk space for Miku is still used up. I tried just reinstalling anyway in hopes of rewriting over the old files or something but it ate up another 1.2Gs and when I uninstalled it now im missing 2.5 gigs. Where is this going and how do I delete it.

Edit : nvm I think it just went to my system restore

Vocaloid2 is a synthesizer (digital music) program. You give it notes to "sing," and put lyrics to it, choose the voice, and then it will "sing" for you.

It's a music program, but with voices instead of instruments.

I hope that helps, somehow. >:

hmm just finished downloading no problem so far just a few questions
1.How do you get 3 or even 2 voices in 1 phrase (I mean like *Miku - arigato* *Rin - desu *) can't seem to get 2 voices =/
2.How do you get http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v642/kurumirina/screenshot.jpg

the answers are prolly in the manual but I'm too lazy to read lol

2.How do you get http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v642/kurumirina/screenshot.jpg

Go to the bottom where it says "Track." Right click and go to "add track," (or (A) ). When you want to add notes that "Voice1" would sing, click the button at the bottom that says "Voice1." When you want to add notes that your 2nd singer would sing, click where it says "Voice2", and add notes.

To pick who you want to sing, click the track (Voice1, Voice2, etc.) you want to pick the singer for, then double click the bar that says "Singer" at the bottom. It will give you a drop down box, and you choose who you want from your singer database.

Ex: To make Miku sing, "Arigato," click Voice1 track at the bottom. Add the notes and lyrics in. Then double click "Singer" at the bottom, and choose "Miku."

Then right click "track" at the bottom, and choose "Add Track (A)". It will add a track called "Voice2." Click the button that says "Voice2," and add the notes and lyrics to say "Desu" for Rin, where you would want her to say "Desu" in the song. Double click "Singer" at the bottom, and choose "Rin."

Now you can render the tracks, and you should end up with:

Miku: Arigato
Rin: Desu!

Except in music form. :3

I followed all the instructions given with Ichigo's Vocaloid2, and the program works. Installed all the characters, mounted, activated; I've got it all done correctly. However, I can only use Miku. I cannot change characters like I should be able to.

It's really bothering me, because I really like Ren and Rin, and I'd like to use them instead of just Miku.

Well, for starters, you need to go down to the bottom. Get the Pencil tool thing and right click on the line that says "Singer." Now, you select whichever sing your want and that singer will sing from that point onwards until you change singers at another point.

As for KAITO and MEIKO, I have literally scoured the Internet and have found no seeded Torrents for these items I am sorry to report.

Now, I would just like to thank afarinah for providing such a great Torrent. I also found, that if Prima runs out of her Liscense, just re-run the Keygen found in the Len/Rin ISO and then re-import that key over using the same method used to originally install it. This will fix that issue right there.

Thanks so much! YOU GUYS ARE MY HEROES! But there's one problem... Can someone PLEASE create or tell me where I can find a free torrent for Gackpoid (Kamui Gakupo)? I REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY WANT HIM! Badly... Thanks so much for Miku, Rin, and Len, but well... Sometimes I need a deeper voice, and Gakupo would be perfect! I've googled torrents for "Kamui Gakupo" and "Gackpoid". For Kamui Gakupo I just got people saying how they can't find torrents for him, and when I searched "Gackpoid", I got torrents, but they were all on register sites... I really really need a torrent for Gakupo!

1. Unpack all.
2. Mount ISO's and run setup.exe from them in the following sequence:
a)Miku; b)Rin&Len; c)Prima.
Don't install VSTi from first two disks by unselecting it in a custom install mode's list.
Don't activate it after installations.
4. Run keygen from Rin&Len folder then select any device in the list, hit Generate then save the result in "C:\Program Files\VOCALOID2\" folder (It should be "VOCALOID_ActivationKey.txt".).
5. After installing the Prima select Activate from it's start menu, hit Yes in "do you want to activate now?" dialog, select "no Internet connection" then select, in PC identification device list, the same device as in keygen and hit Import Activation Key. After that locate "VOCALOID_ActivationKey.txt" file in a following dialog box and hit Open.

I think it'll do.

use "pencil tool" to click and edit that

just 2-click wherever on Singer line and choose your singer, if you change your mind, 2-click again

you can drag that singer voice to choose when she/he can sing too

To change singers, you have to scroll all the way back to the very beginning of the song. And I do mean the VERY beginning, like the -3rd bar of dead space at the very beginning of the song.

anderson, it depends on the language of the vocaloid you are using.

Japanese:
CH - tS
R - 4 in the middle of a word, 4' at the beginning of a word
L - Doesn't exist in the Japanese phonetics, I don't think. Use R instead

English:
CH - tS
R - complicated, let me know if this is what you need and I'll add more
L - l0 (lower-case "L", zero) as the beginning of a syllable, l (lower-case "L") otherwise

If you can't delete the files, RENAME them to Vocaloid2_Japanese.bak. This will stop the system from using it.

Thanks, I restarted in safe mode, and I managed to delete them, but now, I only get an error with lots of weird characters, I can get a picture of it later, school network sucks for uploading pictures...
If you know what I mean though, please help.

There are lots of errors with weird pictures that can take place. How far does it let you get -- does it just error-fy when you open it, or do certain parts of the editing process yield errors? It takes a while for homebrew Vocaloid to get itself working quite right, and often lots of trial and error is necessary. Don't expect to be editing songs for at least four days after you first download it.

I've been trying to install Miku I got 18gig on my f drive(that were I'm installing to) and it sayed I don't have enough memory.:crash:
Plz some one help.:abandoned:
___________
Never mind I fixed it.
Anyone who is going to install on a second hard drive and is having a similer error read this.

Q16. When I try to install VOCALOID in a PC with programs in another drive, the installation fails. Although the installer's pass is changed, it mandatorily takes the default pass.

A16. Usually, VOCALOID can be installed in a drive other than C: drive, but the files are temporarily uncompressed in C: drive. Therefore, if C: drive has no enough space, the installation of VOCALOID to other drive may be failed. If so, change the environment variable by performing the following procedure so that VOCALOID can be installed even though there is not enough space in C: drive.
1. From the control panel:
(a) Select "Performance and maintenance" -> "System" (in case of XP)
(b) Select "System" (When the control panel is set as "classic display" in Win2000 and/or XP)

2. Select "Detailed setting" tab

3. Select "Environment variable"

4. Move the variable TEMP and/or TMP from C: drive folder to other drive folder (for both user environmental variable and system variable)

Information related to VOCALOID may be written in the registry file, it is desirable to delete all registry files related to VOCALOID before reinstalling.

ummm you do realize Vocaloid 2 was originally programmed in English, so if you Delete:

1. vedit2_Japanese.dll
2. SingerEditor2_Japanese.dll
3. Activate2_Japanese.dll
4. VOCALOID2_Japanese.dll

The program defaults back to English..... >:D Silly peeps! Mine was easily changed from japanese to english by deleting these files. Thanks!

In the instructions, it asks me to copy the crack to the installation directory. One problem, though. . .Where is the directory?
(Sorry, I'm a retard)

wow, somebody please reseed. this is incredible.

I would suggest that instead of asking for a reseed of this torrent it would be faster to look at other torrent threads here, like this one (http://www.hongfire.com/forum/showthread.php?t=138026), that also have these vocaloids included.
