I'm in a happy and sharing mood so I decided to share my japanese game collection to you guys. The game shared are one of my top favs in my collection. They are purely for fun entertainment and easily playable if u dont understand japanese. Posting this thread took me quite a few days and hours to prepare, please don't FLAME me if theres already the same game posted in this forum. Please tell, if there is extracting failure to a game or broken link. Note that to go full screen for some games it is Alt+Enter and the controls are mostly Z,X,C,V or Ctrl, Alt, Shift or Mouse. Please enjoy as I have enjoyed these games, thank you.

A addicting game that composes of many mini-games focusing on visual, vocal, or dance skills. If u played Wario Ware Inc. ull love this game. The games are quite interesting, fun, and ull catch on fast on many unique concepts. The game kind of adult themed but does not contain any nudity. Game is very well made animation, game play, and layout wise.

Crescent Pale Mist (Must Have)
One of the best side scrolling shmup game ive ever played. Very unique and extremely fun! The missiles and animation in this game is eye candy. Various attack skills are used from different forms of energy. After playing awhile you may noticed and learned the game play has some interesting concepts.The boss fights are epic and jaw dropping. Seriously this is a must have and must played for any one. Rare Gem.

Utawarerumono Battle
A fun action arcade style game based off of the famous Utawarerumono. The game is alot of replay value as there are many different characters and choices in choosing what stage to conquer next. The game takes a whole new level in how you time and use your attacks, very in depth, ironicly it has only one attack button. The bosses are quite scary in their special and unique attacks. Nice sprite quality and smooth action.

Suzumiya Haruhi no Chourantou
This game is quite similar to the infamous Power Stone from Capcom with a theme from the popular The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. The game is mad fun with on going 4 player brawl. The animation is well made and smooth action. With story mode and Vs it is great fun mindless fighting with all the chars from the anime. Very pleasing for any fan of Power Stone or Melancholy Haruhi Suzumiya.

Osaka Simulator
A very unique simulator game with the exclusive character Kasuga Ayumu, aka Osaka, from Azumanga Daioh. If you seen and enjoyed the anime, you'll get a kick out of this. The game has few interactions with her. You can buy her things and control your camera, as she is life like in her daily random routines. The things she does and do is MAD FUNNY, if you know her personality. Considered possibly as a screen saver and enjoyable viewing entertainment, its a must have for any fan.

Line-Kill Spirits
Comical fighting game with a unimagined concept. This isnt the usual fighting game, instead of just beating ur opponent to death you have to take pictures of their undergarments. The more pictures taken the more they're life is reduced. Theres a great load of unusual ways of taking the pictures. Great game that requires quick reflexes and character whooping.

ElePaper Action
ElePaper Action is an amazingly great 2D/3D game that used the concepts of the Valkyrie Profile but enhanced it with real time side scrolling action. The game is themed from the anime Read or Die. Papers are collected in order to initiate special attacks. When Anita is separated from the group the other characters can perform different attacks instead of the other attacks when they are together. The stages are well designed, detail quality is quite good, and the attacks arn't stiff at all. Must have for any R.O.D. or Valkyrie Profile fan.

Full Metal Sister Marilu
A fairly fun side scroller that has similar game play as Metal Slug. The stages are creatively made and almost puzzle like, enough that it will make you strategically think where you should shoot and camp. Fun game that can kill time.

Blood-Over-
Blood-Over is a gunslinging 3D side scroller and has almost quite similar theme of Devil May Cry. The game has a fairly fun attack juggling system. As you progress through the game it gets fairly harder, so experiment with keys as you figure out new attacks and combos. Bosses in this game are very well implemented as they too have they're own special moves that puts a great show on your sprite. The OP song and music score is quite nice.

BigBang Beat 1st Impression (Must Have)
Possibly one of the best PC fighting games I've ever played. Based by Alicesoft's dojin, it is one of the highest quality made fighting games known. It has a killer OP, character moves, and beautiful backgrounds. A must played game for anyone who enjoys 2D sprite fighting!

A Touhou Project shmup game known for insane missile shows and difficulty. It is also well known for the character development for a shmup game. The game shouldnt be taken lightly as Easy mode is also difficult. Great game for any shmup player who seeks a challenge.

MegaMari
A game based off of the Touhou Project's featuring Marisa. Very similiar to Megaman where you select themed bosses and thier stages. The game is surprisingly quite hard showing the same values as the Touhou games. It becomes fairly easier after you get the skills from the bosses you defeated. Fun game for any Megaman or Tohhou fan.

Bike Banditz (Must Have)
One of the most entertaining shmup game ive played on PC. Made by French-Bread, the same company who made Ragnarok Battle Offline. The difficulty for this game is not too hard and not too easy. The graphics is very well made, almost cartoon/anime like with the thick black boarders. They have a interesting point system where shapes of items are collected in order to achieve higher points.The levels are amazingly fun, from fighting unique bosses to dealing with a battleship behind ur tail. An awesome game that shouldnt be missed.

A extremely well made horizontal shmup game. The game has a similar theme of the Touhou games, where there is missile madness and character sized bosses. The game is high quality in sprite, animated back grounds and surprising in game video menus. An excellent game that looks almost like a commercial console game, a must have for any shmup fan.

Gunners Heart
An outstanding rail shooter shmup style game similar to Starfox. What makes the game so great are the features. You can play 2 player or even with a computer. There is also a shop system where different weapons can be bought, also even in game goodies such as extra mode or more credits. The story mode for the game is quite good. Gunners Heart is a keeper and quite enjoyable.

Another touhou like game with nice tweaks. The game features a grid like system which is kinda neat. Like any touhou-like game it has a nice show of bullets, good enough to keep your eye off of ur hit box. Instead of the bosses being small characters, its ships. If ur a shmup player seeking a new challenge this game may satisfy your hunger.

i eagerly opened it as soon as i was done downloading the game.

EDIT; By the way.. This might sound really stupid, but how do I configure the keyboard options for Crescent Pale Mist?

Like in the game I go to options, then the second options after that.

But I can't really change the arrows keys :S Because I have a laptop I don't have separate numeral keys D;

Hey thnx for posting these i go to doujinstyle all the time but don't bother looking through all the games... takes too much time. oh yeah and a lot of games will work on Vista. if the game doesn't work the first time u have to go do a little process where u make vista have the game work. u do this.
1. go to start tab and right click computer.
2. click advanced system settings.
3. click settings under performance in the advanced tab.
4. click data execution prevention tab.
5. click turn on DEP for all programs and services except those i select.
6. now click the add button and add the executable that didn't work b4 and it will work like a charm the next time u try it.

My PC crashed just yesterday while I was playing CPM using my Flash Drive(I play at school whenever I'm allowed so I take the game there) I lost all the data >_<.This was the first place I thought of(I had all the items and most of the artifacts too T_T). This are the words of and extremely frustrated(not to mention desperate man looking for help....
