Maybe you didn't have enough space in your window drive? You need to have at least 2.5 or 3GB free space in window(c:\) drive during the installation.

A: If Kensington MouseWorks is installed, kmw_dll.dll can cause problems, and prevent installation.

I have the same problem, the program doesnt install, and i get the same error code. However, i checked my System/System32 folders and no signs of kmw_dll.dll.

All you need to make sure your computer has the Japanese OS on, and you have the apploc program also and at least 2 GB in case becoz this program seems to have a special packaging program that reduces it to 400MB+

In the crack folder u see two .dll and one .exe

WARNING, B4 you cut and paste over them, pls .zip,.rar or make a copy of the originals in case the .dll or the .exe doesnt work or hang

the .exe goes to **/Program Files/vocaloid2

the plugin folder is at **/Program Files/steinberg

What if u can't activate it, simple >.>

1. u didnt install apploc or the vocaloid2 properly (be sure apploc is among your programs at start menu.)

2. you install it under a different OS langauge

3.you deleted something important for it to work while your anti-virus auto-scans.

4. if it says you are unable to install >.> probably u didnt read their instructions carefully listed above.

5.Probably one of your software is preventing it from starting.

i have a question. I placed the contents of the crack into their respective directories. The Activate option still doesnt work since it asks for a serial number. I can use the Vocaloid Editor though. Is this supposed to happen? Or am I supposed to be able to use the Activate option?

It always happns at the end of the installation. I'm not usually one who gives up easily and squeals for help but...HELP! o.o

Looked more thoroughly through the thread (baka me) and found that I'm not the only one with this problem.

Alright, I finally downloaded this version of Vocaloid and was ever happily installing it when my anti-virus suddenly popped up, alerting me of a file behaving in the manner of a worm! This can mean one of two things: either it's a real worm or it's merely a file which, well, behaves like a worm.

Since it bothered me, I thought I'd write here and see if anyone got anything to tell.

I've checked a couple sources, and apparently the Crack.rar does not open.
I think the thing that is being seeded is broken.
It should contain the .dll and .exe file right?

Vocaloid can only sing,you can't make music with it - you need a separate program for that.
There is a version taht includes Rin/Len + Prima and is in english, posted here (http://www.hongfire.com/forum/showthread.php?t=79916). Has all the needed activation tools included.

Hii, I've just downloaded this - and I have the "1 - Vocaloid2 - Hatsune Miku" folder, and theres another folder inside called "MIKU" but there's nothing inside there, and I'm supposed to have an iso inside it.

Do you think anyone could put up the iso on megaupload or anything really, please and thank you.

If you can't open the setup try some different window compatibility settings.
Also, you need Cubase for the VSTi instrument, either that or some similar software.

what is apploc?
where can i download it?
is it in the ISO?
if so..
i cant look inside the ISO because i can't install applications,because i have a limited account..hehe.

This is just the voice synthesizer. If you want to get Miku dancing you need to get the Miku Miku Dance program, which is over in this thread:

Hey guys, I STILL can't seem to install this. I Extracted the crack.rar and got
2 .dll and one .exe(application) files.

But when I click on the app, it says "Application failed. Can't find DSCL2.dll"

the read me file says: Extract crack.rar. (done)
Copy VOCALOID2.exe to installed folder and replace.
Copy VOCALOID2.dll and VOCALOID2_Realtime.dll to VSTi Plugin folder and replace.

Where can i find my "Install folder"?, replace what?
also, what is the "VSTi plugin folder"?
