I've noticed that we have a few members here at Hongfire that are very good at image editing/making, then there are those who are not so good...

I think it would be good if we had a thread for those who aren't good with image editors (or are just too lazy) so they could request an avatar or signature from those who are willing to do them. I'm willing to do them, though I'm not that good.

Note: This isn't the request thread itself, just my idea.
So, what do you think?

That's not a bad idea at all if everybody acts normal and doesn't act n00bish about requesting. My strategy is just to fool around in Photoshop until something cool happens, though.

That would be nice, since I guess most people (me included) have low experience with Photoshop and stuff. So I want this for sure :)

A Project Forum is in the works, so just wait until that is created. You will be able to start your own projects for Hongfire members there.

it would be good, but i don't think you be as happy for the avatar and sig if you have done it yourself. i'm still an amateur myself, so i do want to see what is to be offered :D

So, any idea when the projects forum will be ready to use?

I second the forum.
'tis a great idea, it not only limits hongfire as "JUST" a place to download and share anime/hentai/games/etc. but also an opportunity to help other members and culminate your skills in making new arts through requests...

It already has a great community as a base, adding another project forum would be nice...
