I feel that Ninja Gaiden is the best game that was ever made. I just can't believe the graphics and the game play. It is all just so incredible and the storyline fits perfectly.
Bad: :(
I feel that the only thing bad with it was that you didn't get to use Ayane at all during the game.
Ninja Gaiden rocked ass...
Only downside is the crappy final boss.

I'd have to agree. Cuz the second Master Tournament Mode gave you Lunar and it was super awesome. Very Hard I heard we awesomely hard. ~_~ I can't even beat Hard Mode.

The Upgraded version of the game is so awesome. It is so incredible how much the graphics and game play inproved as you play online. Also you get to fight new eneimes and get new weapons just makes you feel that you are playing ninja gaiden all over again. You haven't played Ninja Gaiden until you have played it on Xbox Live. :D

I bought Xbox live just to play Ninja Gaiden and Halo 2! The upgraded version is a lot harder than normal mode. But on the other hand, I did only beat the game on normal andi think Hard.

I believe that you should first try and beat the game on Very Hard before tring it on Xbox Live. That way when they surprise you with there new and powerful enimes you will be ready for them with you advanced ninja skills and techniques.

Thanks for your advice. LOL. I had a real hard time on Hard mode, so very hard is like not something i can beat. :D

That goes to show you that you should never sell or give away any of your ninja games...that is of coarse you are selling or giving them to me.. then I have nothing more to say to stop you.. :D

That sucks...well maybe next time you could take better care of your games...not that I am saying that you don't, but losing Ninja Gaiden to me is like losing your life.

In fact, When I played hard mode I only used the dragon sword and the bladed nunchakus mostly. You really don't need anything for magic except probably the izuma and ice shield if your a defensive type of player. Weapons your probably use the most is the true dragon sword, bladed nanchukus, unlabored flawlessness, (only if your surrounded and is charged with max essence) and the dabilharo.
My friends said it was hard but once they knew how to do everything and when to use it was so easy.
Anyone beat the original ninja gaiden games ? Should play those games if you need practice for air attacks or speed demons.
I concur with the consensus, here. Game r0x0red. Boss sucked the big one.
Except for that Kingdom Hearts-screwy camera. The camera had strange tendencies to end up in the weirdest places.

I agree, but I don't think that the unlabored flawlessness is even neccessary in the game. It is just a waste of money. It doesn't have as many attacks as the dabilharo and not one that but it is weaker. The only weapons I have been using is on Very Hard is the Dragon Blade and sometimes the Dabilharo combined with the Vigorian Flail...when I say combine I mean I keep switching off back and forth depending on the chance I have. This way of fighting took me along time to accomplish but if you can pull it off you will get through Very Hard as it is Normal. I mean when you are fighting the fiends in Chapter 12 you need to move quickly and do as much damage as possible...The best thing about Ninja Gaiden that I discovered on my own was that there is no end to it. It just keeps getting better everytime I play it. Like I will find a new way to use my weapons or I never knew that this weapon can attack this way or the enemies are weak against this spell etc.

In my opinion Ninja Gaiden is the best next gen game of all time. The graphics are amazing and the game play is great. My only complaint is people like me who dont have Xbox Live got screwed out of the add-ons.
well if don't have x-box live there's no way to get the storm shadow updates!!! Especially if you got a modchip x-box or have a bootleg ninja gaiden! Well if the sequal comes out am sure some of the weapons that were on the update will come to the sequal.

I just started Master Ninja Tornement #3 and it took the game beyond anyone would have expected. It isn't like the other two Tornements because this one you start in the last part as you place the statues. It looks like the squel as you would say it because you do different events and see different clips.

I can sum up my playing experience with Ninja Gaiden pretty easily.
It took me a few days to beat it. Normal mode took 7 hours, Hard took 9, and Very Hard took about 14 hours. After that I went back an unlocked the NES NG games, which was also fun to do ^_^
The game is hard, but not as hard as many people say it is. Even on Very Hard, the game is beatable. If you really do suck at this game, go back to the NES, and beat Ninja Gaiden 1-3. Thats what I did to prepare myself for this game anyway ^_^

Ninja Gaiden is the best game for xbox...minus halo of course. :D
the graphics just blew me away once istarted the game. haven't got the hurricane packs though.

I beat both hurricane pack 1 and 2, but the 3rd is like impossible to beat. I can't even get to the save point. Its driving me to the point of throwing my controller to the ground. *sigh

NG is one of those games that deserves to be existed. It's challenging, theer's a variety of moves to pull of, weapons to test of with style with there own moves, excellent work on the cutscenes and just great to look at :)
But i didn't beat the game, up to the last fight with Doku and he's murder! :(
Unlabored Flawlessness is such a funny weapon
It looks like a oversized frat paddle :D

Don't remind me of the paddle, saw some kids gettin this guy into a frat with their "initiation" and God save his ass...
I'm pretty sure nobody actually gets their ass paddled during initiation... From what my friends say, most of them are actually much worse.
Then again, I'm not in a frat so I wouldn't know.

I did(not the ass thing)(b/c Im a cheater), but I still havent beaten this game yet, I got this game maybe a week after it first came out and Im still stuck on that damn Goat deman flying thing, with his walls of winged slime, and jumping slasher things
Overall I suck at this game *falls to the ground b/c of depression*, hopefully me and my friends combined skills will be able to beat the game

I thought he was nothing much. I thought Alma was nothing much, but I thought the corridor battle with that bone dragon thing, u know the fight after you've placed the sword of valor, was so freaking hard! X_X I was just chipping away at that HP bar until I realised how to damage it... My best combo count was only 100+, also with the flail, but I'm more proficient with havier weapons like the Dabilahro, and I personally love the Dark Dragon Blade. Big swords rule :P Now that I'm playing DMC3, it reminds me of NG again...
Abuse the Flying Swallow and Ultimate Attacks of the Dragon Sword, Abuse the Flail's Red-Hot Iron Brand, remember to follow-up with a heel drop, the Dabilahro is freaking powerful (I try not to use UF) in that its XXYYY combo is very fast and decapitates most of the time, best of all it leaves u on the ground, free to perform the reverse wind move. Abuse reverse wind and wind path. :D

But there's no story at all, besides "Evil guys kill ryu's clan for some reason, now ryu must killl them." Bad dudes vs Dragon Ninjas had a deeper plot. I saw the only 'twist' to the story coming from the end of level 1. Otherwise it's just killing things and looking at women and demons with big boobs. It's not hard to believe it's a Team Ninja production.
It also lacks replayability. If you REALLY love the gameplay, you might play it again, but otherwise there's no point. Once you beat the game, you unlock new costumes, but that's it. The game resets, you lose all your stuff and power ups. And on harder difficulties, things only become more expensive, so it becomes more and more tedious to power things up.
Buy it cheap if you can.

I had the privilege of reviewing the game for a local mag, but MS Games Studio is the most anal-retentive game studio in the world. Why, you may ask. Well, complimentary Ninja Gaiden games were given out, but they WANTED IT BACK *cough cough* "We'll let you have 1 free complimentary copy to review, let us have it back when its done so we can analyze the reviewer's fingerprints and DNA, mmkay?"
So like psycopanda, I played it once and then handed it back. When XBOX Live came around I heard about all the hot new content, but then someone's not happy with being #1 richest man in the world, we gotta give him back his FREE copies of Ninja Gaiden. Also, XBOX Live is M@#$@$@$ expensive to maintain without a 99 figure salary south of the Equator.
The plot wasn't exactly as straightforward as psycopanda made it out to be, although the gameplay was rather linear in a way. Ryu didn't want to whoop their asses, but his Master told him to "unlock the path of his future" (Also, when Ryu gets all peaceful and preaches The Way of Ninja Zen he gets killed and "GAME OVER", not very helpful in terms of plot) Fortunately they have several combos and weapons and Live content makes it all worth playing again.
Sadly I have neither NG nor Live now, but I have a modded Xbox and about 50 games which I haven't opened or tried yet (including an original version of Halo 2, my birthday gift. I love rich friends). Yes, I am a 'ho. No, my brother modded the Xbox and bought the games, not me.

That picture is in NGB, during the second chapter when Ryu is in his village. He finds Ayane lying there and injured so... Yea, the picture comes in.
NGB is a total revamp for the game. But only from Hard mode and Above. They added more costumes, more difficulties, more weapons(from the downloadable hurricane pack) and more enemies.
It was freaking tough to even get pass the first stage on Master Ninja mode... Unfortunately, you unlock nothing even if you beat the MN difficulty. Only satisfaction for yourself I guess...
Spaming flying sparrow is now very punishable. With the military soldiers countering by air grabbing and stuff. A totally new way to play the game for people who just spam that move... And Alma is a total bit*h to fight in MN difficulty. NG fans must try it.
Oh, and BTW, Dante's a sissy who can't even block or take a blow. Sorry to offence Dante and DMC fans but NG just own hands down.

Hmmm. I have only played the original Ninja Gaidiens for the NES. They were fantastic though. I have played DOA though and the ninja in it from ninja gaidien is awesome.:kakashi:

That boss was simply if you have a lvl 2 dragon sword. Jump press Y, repeat till tentacals are gone, hold Y for a sword charge and repeat. There is a lot harder things in this game but still a great game.

I'm playing NGB black again on very hard and Alma was a pain in the a**! It took me uncountable times to get her down, not to mention lots of potions.
But, damn was I satisfied after that!!!

They say that NG2 is official but it probably will be on the PS3 thats what i've heard recently.
And yes Alma is a pain. I only had 2 elixers to kill her and god it took mi a while.

On normal, you get the red muffler.
On hard, the Ryuken.
On very hard, the classic Ninja.
On Master Ninja, satisfication.

Im still fighting that demon chick, the one you fight right after you get the dragon sword, I managed to woop her but got stuck in the dungeon, got boored of exploring and never played it since. The game is awesome and hard(tho he feels kinda like a wimp compared to dante, dies so damn fast with me), much more fun that dmc3.
