Yes but you have to turn off the mod chip first. How to do that depends on the CHIP itself. Most just takes a switch.
Its really simple.

Thats not working anymore, i heard that you get banned from live if your hdd size is bigger than original too..
anyways.. there is an program for pc called "X-link Kai revolution 7" it tricks the xbox.. so it thinks its playing a system link game, while you are playing online for free :P

I think thats false info. And also it maybe because you don't LOCK your harddrive. Once you put a new HD in there you NEED to lock it.
I read an article about this on PC magazine so you can trust me on this.

HEY guys i'm planing ot Mod my Xbox, will some one give as much info for a rookie at Xbox modding would need, Sites, types of chips, the right HD to put in, a suitable size for the HD eg 120 gb or 80 gb, and the name of the screw driver i need to buy. please, thanks :D

Hey i heard a lot of ppl go to tampanies to mod their Xbox..... i think they are using Chameleon mod Chip to mod your xbox....

xbox scene show you how to soft mod your xbox, it lets you play burn or imported without a modchip.
