One of the best Live Action shows of today would have to be The Shield. (IMO)
The Shield is what I'd guess would be considered a Cop Drama/Action/Comedy/Family/Awesometastic show, airing on FX in the 'States. Unlike other Cop Investigation dramas that are popular today, it's a much more "high octane" brand of show. It depicts corruption, mixed political motives, drugs, racial/ethnic profiling and police brutality within LA's toughest guys and girls in blue into one twistedly masterful show. In many aspects The Shield should have atleast ONE thing everyone can enjoy. Whether it's the brutal action scenes, strong comraderie between friends and co-workers, morals, comedy and emotional family scenes, it's hard not to like. The magic lies within the cast of characters, all of which vary wildly, but are likable in one way or the other. Plus the main protagonist, Vic Mackey, is a BA to the max!
This show however is definitely not for any of the young 'uns and/or the weak hearted. So be warned!
So if you like Action/Dramas with BA characters check out The Shield!
