Perhaps it Just shows Man's need for his sexual need/appetite that he'll do anything (even aggressively) just to let the prey (which is a woman)be submissivee for his needs. Rape is only a more mild flavor of Hentai. If H had only a narrow spectrum of stories, genre and tendencies, then it might not sell as well. Variety is the key!

If you're wondering why rape is appealing, that is because one might prefer rougher scenes. Technically, you would be aroused just the same by the same scenes in rape if it went by any other name. There are really no words to describe how sick I'm getting of all the rape in the new wave of games and movies.

Most people start with long-winded explanations, while simply attempting to say "hey, it's just for sick losers, man. And of course, I don't like it, I'm not a loser !".

Truth is, it's simple fact that many persons, are simply aroused by various fantasies involving non-consensual sex. Doesn't mean that they actually would REALLY like to do this. But the (fantasy-coloured) idea excite them.

I totally agree with you orisa, I myself don't really like rapes either. Hentai or in real life (especially in reality), rapists make me sick because they'll go that far to wreck someone emotionally only to have a few seconds worth of pleasure. I don't see how people can enjoy watching that but I guess everyone has their own likes and dislikes; producers wouldn't be making it if people didn't like it (as you've pointed out blantantly orisa).

I must say that when comparing Hentai to American porn, American porn rocks even if it is corny and with unbelievable situations. 10/10 times the big breasted blond will not pay for the pizza by having sex with the pizza deliver man (even if this is the fantasy of all guys, this just ain't gonna happen people). The problem lies not in the hentai rape themed titles created, but the people who demand such titles to be created in the first place. However, when it comes to real life, I don't think "disturbing" is a strong-enough word for describing rape. It's up there with murder as one of the two most horrible crimes one can commit. I tend to get bored with rape-themed hentai very quickly, since most of it is pretty derivative.
