Why Do You Like Hongfire So Much?

i found out bout this when i was doing some reading on other site n i took the time to look at it n i was amazed by wats in this site that other dont have. its huge site that has gallery, huge forum section, and most of all brand new torrents that just came out few months or weeks.

I used to like the gallery flash section a lot, people actually put flashes there that are entertaining to watch/interact. Then there was the 30 post rule in forums so you can post in the gallery.

So I started looking for topics to respond to, so I found these pedo's who I tried correcting by telling them watching little kids involved in sex acts is wrong. That is where I got my rep creamed and started finding out that they actually searched other forums for my nick and attempted creaming my rep there too. They propably tried sending me Loli via e-mail then call the FBI to bust me, but that didn't work as I am not a pedo.

Well that is why I love hongfire...

I like HF's Members loyal due to the shutdown of the torrents... loosing theri pics in the gallery and loosing many of their posts during the reconstruction..

Initially the torrents were great, then I used it to find out great links... I've since poked around a bit and compared it to other sites and hongfire holds it's own very well. I would especially mention the forum layout. Other sites, I feel like I need a degree or something to post :( Really hard on the eyes. This place is good for someone not technologically inclined like myself. There's the occassional weird person, but as I've been that weird person from time to time it's not a deal breaker ;) Plus if I use chatrooms as the standard of comparison everybody here is a freaking einstien :D

Sadly, I can't say that I love Hongfire as much as I used to. Sure the community here is great, but most of the time I can't relate to anything being said in any of the threads because I'm not an avid anime watcher and never will because I involve myself too much in my school work :(. Also, I can't really find many torrents on this site worth downloading anymore because quite frankly, the torrents on this site and many others went down the toilet because of the lawsuit scares that companies were making towards torrent sites. Also, the gallery used to rock, but it doesn't seem as organized as it used to be, and I can't rate anything or comment on anything yet because of some silly post count...

But, I'm an optimist and so I will continue to pray for this site in hopes that its content will increase in quality and that the community continues to grow.

Hmm.. I used to get lotsa emails of updates about new torrents being uploaded in Hongfire a long long time ago.. almost everything was available here.. .. but those were the times.. I prefer the old Hongfire.. the old gallery,...

Still.. Hongfire has a nice community.. new games and movies are uploaded here.. good place to get information about merchandise.... yea.. the gallery looks a bit messy now..

I really, honestly need to know why.

Is it because I'm not allowed to express my discontent with Hongfire?

I don't remember reading that in the rules anywhere...

If nobody tells me why my post got deleted, how am I supposed to fix whatever I'm doing wrong?

Would it not be better to just edit posts and give a reason for removal rather than outright deleting them?

I can always use more followers. Especially female followers, but male followers are almost usefull for a few far less important things as well. Maybe for recruiting more followers or something.

My reason? The community is EXTREMLY honest, nice, respectful, and helping. I've met a good sum of people here, and not ONE person here was an asshole. There might be the exception, but at least the percentage of assholes on hongfire is very low compared to some other forums.

I loved this site mainly because of the community and people. People here are nice and easy to get along with. Also, most of the people here are interested in the same thing as I am so there is always something interesting to see or read. Also, compared to some larger forums, HongFire is very clean and organized. I've seen forums with thread like "The get to 100000 replies thread!!", which would be nuked if it ever appeared on HF...

We've already explained why old posts get deleted. If you think your post is being deleted for no reason. Then you should PM a staff member to investigate.
