...So I had a dream last night about a girl. This girl was probably one of the most beautiful ones I've ever seen - well, more like dreamed of - in my life. She had clear, hazel eyes like a blend of the blue ocean and the evergreen forest. Her freckles on her face were a subtle contrast to her fair skin, like as if light-brown powder was peppered over cream milk. Her hair was straight and long, with a shade of brown and dark red blended together. Her body was perfect; not big, not skinny, just the right thickness altogether and the curves in the right areas.

...So I walked up to this girl and I looked at her straight in the eyes, which is something I can't easily do in real life towards beautiful people, to tell you the truth. I looked at her and she smiled back so innocently. I told her that I loved her. Her smile became a frown and she told me that she can't return the same feeling. But she did kiss me though, which I don't understand why but there must be some meaning behind it.

...So my dream fastforwards and for some reason I find myself happily together with this girl. We're at the mall, at a shoe store in particular, and browsing around. With us was a little baby in a carriage, which the girl seemed to be responsible for. Was it her baby? Or was it a younger sibling? I don't know... Then I meet my friend Diego with some buddies of his. Diego and his friends start to romp up the place with their crazy antics. The girl I was with obviously became uncomfortable as did I. So I desperately yell at my friends, "SHUT THE HELL UP AND STOP THIS ****ING NONSENSE!" But like in a movie or sit-com, as the timing always seems to be "convenient" for the actors, the security officers arrive exactly right after I said what I said. And damn right, we were in trouble. The officers told us to get out of the store. They seemed to have directed us towards the interrogation office.

...So as I found myself walking with the girl, hand-in-hand, as we tried to reach the office. Strangely enough, however, the pathway we took seemed to be an endless hallway. At any rate, I couldn't believe that I was still with this girl even after we said that we couldn't be together, but nevertheless it just felt so right if we were. And while we were walking I had this damn near crazy idea to tell her that when they interrogate us, we shouldn't say that the baby is our child and that we aren't married otherwise we'd be separated from each other. (As to how that could be possible, I don't know.) I also told her that I DID want to marry her in the future. She said, "Thank you. That's the most beautiful thing I've ever heard." I must have said those words out loud in my sleep.

And then I woke up. I remember the dream vividly because it was the LAST thing I was dreaming about. I doubt it has any significant meaning behind it in my life but the whole thing did touch me inside... deep in the heart. Seriously. Which isn't common for the perverted old me who gets off on wild, raunchy crap like hentai and porn.

If you think I'm a ****ed up weirdo, you're probably right. :o

I had one like that a few months ago, Skizzem. It was a sad dream and when I woke up I felt such soul-crushing grief that I was depressed for a few days. The mind is a freaky thing.

I think it happens at least once in every man's life time, a dream about being together with the ideal girl, probably the most when they look for love. It happened to me too, although it doesn't anymore. It's best if you do not have to see the dream, because like farkinicehole experienced, a depression could most likely follow when you wake up from that oh-so-awesome dream.

I don't know man... I mean it's not like the dream was depressingly sad, but it's not like it gave me a happy-go-lucky feeling either. Lol and to tell you the truth, I don't even know if the girl I described is the "ideal" type for me, though I would probably find myself awestruck if the woman I marry in the future ends up being the one I saw in my dreams.

But you guys are right; I shouldn't take it too seriously or I'd probably find myself hurt. I do wish I could relive the moment though because I've never been in love (or what society would consider as "true" love), just been in in-and-out relationships, so the feeling was like damn.... like, man I wish it was true, ya know?

Edit: Btw Orisa, what did you mean by "shaking up"? Like were you angry about Diego and his friends? Cuz if you were, I was too. What they did was totally uncalled for.

hmmm.. i dun think it's weird, actually i think it means u have a rather healthy mind (of course when things goes extreme). I have these kind of dreams too, but i can never really remember them as clearly as u do. However one thing i always remember is the feeling as i embraced her. The feeling felt real and often wish i died embracing someone like that >__>. To have someone in ur arms like that... it's a heavenly feeling ~__~.... just sux since i can't seem to ever remember her face.

Oh man, I know what you mean. I do clearly remember embracing the girl at least twice and each time felt like a fulfilling and wonderful experience. I can't describe it exactly except that I hope people who've never been in love before eventually do experience it. It's like whoa...

Well, I have seen a couple of romance/drama anime series before but not recently. The last one I've seen must have been almost a year ago. As for me having a crush on someone, I don't know... I mean I have been checking up on a lot of girls but I wouldnt' say I have a crush on any of them.

I tried to emulate the same dream just last night but it didn't work. Man, if only we could record dreams that would be nice.

Hmm...Haven't read all comments but a few people said they had dreams with a subject in the likeness of your own.

Not to be stereotypical, but maybe it's bcause virtually everyone here is a big perv.
My reasoning is this: Pervs are generally very sexual. Here's where the stereotyping comes in: To say all your free time is spent thinking about sex, and similar things, maybe you dream about 'love' because it's something you don't think much about when concious, or it's something you unrealisingly desire.

Like it truly might be something embedded into my subconcious. I say this because about a month ago I had a dream about me enjoying a moment of taking care of little toddlers. These kids were playing with alphabet cubes all marked with "X" on them. I woke up soon after and was inspired to make the sig (that you see now) based on that dream. Maybe it's a sign that I aspire to become a "family man" in the future? (The "X" on the cubes is beyond me though...)

See... no one has random dreams.
Their dream are either some vivid memory, ideas, dreams (something left a vivid image in ur brain), and beliefs from the past.
It was left inactive in ur mind. Until someday some event triggered these inactive memories again. So they haunts u in ur dream.

Or it could be ur interpretation of the future (based on ppl and things that happened recently) that revealed to u in vivid images in ur dream. And that interpretation of that future must mean a lot to u. (it happens either b/c u had a recent fight with a friend or u pissed someone off, or some wierd girl starts liking u, or even the fear of something that might happen based on the seiries of events u observed so far)

Anyways good luck in ur life and pay attention to ur dreams. It really reveals ur true characteristc, reminds u of the good/bad of the past so u can learn from them... and sometimes ur vision of the "future" just might be right (since it's just ur interpretation of what would happen next in ur life b/n u and ppl based on logical interpretation of the situation right now)

No I didn't see my friend Diego. In fact, he's one of those people who I haven't seen in AGES. God knows where he is now or how he's doing. It was kind of strange to see him in the dream all of a sudden. Though he is a bit of a joker, he isn't excruciatingly annoying like the way I portrayed him in my dream. Obviously, the dream was a bit of an exaggeration from the real him. As for the dream girl, man... maybe it's not that I'm in love, but rather that I'm desperate to be in love. I gotta go out there and start developing "real" relationships...

As a college student, I'm still undecided of what my major should be and I haven't totally planned out my future. You're probably right about the interrogation office symbolizing as pressure, for I'm always striving to live up to certain expectations. As for the bit about my friend vs. my girl, I hope I don't have to get into situation like that in the future. And for the thing about the girl of my dreams, who knows... as you said, it could be my subconscious fabricating an image of who I really want to be (in a physical sense) but I wouldn't know that for sure.

I dunno bout that, sometimes i can have 3 dreams in one night. I'd have the first one -> wake up in the middle of the night -> go back to sleep and dream another one -> wake up like an hour before i normally do -> go back to sleep for like 45 min and i get another dream ~__~. The sense of time is really messed up when u're dreaming, cuz i can dream wat seems like for hours and end up only sleeping for 2 hours =/.

no lol, your brain is not a cheap computer, it can "render" everything and more as ya can imagine- with real time ffects (100% realsitic textures, dynamic shadows, smart shader effects, etc. :D)

your eyes are just providing cheap data, which your brain is fixing and mixing and put it together to make a picture. so your brain stored all effects in the world and can mix textures or create new ones (based on your stuff ya saw in real life (e.g. blue eyes like the sky)). it can, of course, create new amazing special effects too.

Quite interesting, seems like this dream has quite an impact on you as you could remember it so vividly. Our minds are quite impressive gotta say, generating what we, ourselves thinks is the ideal person. Maybe others here are right, your in love, or getting a bit lonely.

Could also be because it's the ending of the seasons for most anime. We watch the ending of series that has just been aired and think about what we have just seen. The overthinking causes our brains to continue thinking while we sleep causing us to have very detailed dreams with the dreamer to experience scenarios of anime that are generated by the brain.

Or just simply, you have the gift to see the future - good on ya mate, you got something interesting to look forward to. :)
