Brother's True Bride : Problem

I got this game from the bt.Hongfire, the game works fine, only until the event 5, a window popped up and said something about the file "ev005.sl2" (well I guess it is the file for the event 5) and shut the game down. I tried to reinstall the game : no good.

Did anayone have the same problem.

Another question : it about the unlocker file "sAN-main.dat", since the dvd has a key, any unlocker which come from others dvds did not work, or is there a way to make it work ? :confused:

This might be a game bugg.
Did you try looking at the game's official website to see if there isn't a patch that might help?

Try to apply the patch (it's better if you switch your XP with Jap Support : needed to extract a few compressed files)

Set your Regional Options to Japanese. I had the same problem before.

About using sav dat from others, delete sAN-LICENSE.DAT, replace your own sAN-main.dat with the one that you've downloaded (backup your own first), run the game and enter your key.

You'll need to repeat deleting sAN-LICENSE.DAT and entering the key everytime you run the game or just change sAN-main.dat back to your own

No Patch available (or that why i thought cause i don't understand japanese), and the problem persists even if i switch it to Japanese setting.

Anyway thanks to pangsit, this way i can still get the CG from the game (althrough the method is quite annoying, first time i ve seen such a problem with an unlocker !!!).

Surely you've set Regional and Language Options > Advanced > Language version of non unicode progams to Japanese
and you must have set the time zone to +GMT 9 Osaka, Sapporo, Tokyo, otherwise the key won't work.

But are you sure you've set Regional Options > Standards and Formats > Japanese?
I set Location to Japan too, don't know if it's needed, anyway after I set those settings my problem went away

cause as i said the game run fine, only the bug at the event 5 persists.

I'm talking about this one. It's on the morning of June 22th, right?
I couldn't play it past that point, that's why I downloaded the unlocker. But after following the suggestions I got from this thread (http://www.hongfire.com/forum/showthread.php?t=136), when I tried again, I can play it past that point now.

Does exist a waltru for this game that can used from non-japanese users?
The game is still hard and i don't wont to get only the graphics with a mere savegame;

Of course it does exist (but only in japanese), so first must be familiar with japanese sites and then must have a lot of patience.

I may look for one if only someone help me : I don't know how to write WALKTHROUGH in japanese (very important keyword for the search)...
