I have no problem seeing them different than the video games characters but this......is a disgrace to all of mankind. In the movie the characters kept a mario and luigi feel. In this we lose the thought that maybe mario ate a bad mushroom and thats why its wierd. This takes it too realistic-like.

I don't think the artists meant to offend anyone or anything like that. In fact, they probably just wanted to make a funny little parody that would get people to think about Mario in a different way. Judging by the responses in this thread, I think they succeeded. ^^
