Hehe I guess I'll go first...

For me it was a tough choice between michel000 and ryoji.

michel000's signature is top notch in terms of quality. Every piece of the signature has a crystal-like clarity that gives it a real sense of depth. The overall design is very good and flows really well. michel000's name is quite big which usually I don't think is a good idea, but it works quite well here as a means to fill the majority of the empty space on the left side, and it's self contained in and of itself without drawing attention away from the girl.

However, my vote went to ryoji

First, Ichigo100% is one of my favorite mangas, and Nishino is my favorite Ichigo girl hehe so right off the bat Kudos points there. Initial impression was it was a really creative idea, playing on the fact that Junpei's hobby and lifelong passion is film/photography. The picture of Nishino kissing Junpei is very nice and framed quite well. Nice job with the camera view border (center focus, battery indicator, REC indicator). To further play on the theme, a nice picture of all the Ichigo girls.... in swimsuits no less :P~~~. The only thing that bothered me was the fade section in the middle. The blending just kind of seems awkward with the texture you have in the background. From far away you can't even tell so its really a minor issue.

Man....tough decision. Both signatures were very well done but I think the deciding factor was ryoji's play on the theme. While michel000 also had a little bit of a theme going on with the "rain" and the teardrop rolling down the beautiful girl's cheek, the uniqueness of ryoji's sig got him the win by a nose.

all I can say is the cloud sig is badA$$ dang it looks sweet,I saw a few others I liked but Im a FF7 fan at heart....I really think all the sigs look great

Hmm... kinda hard choosing between Bubblemonkey's n ryoji's.

Bubblemonkey's sig is just hilarious, the big head, twitching eye and, random (but funny) pics in different places makes it look cool. Too bad u couldn't enter the one with the animated tail, love to see that one. This is really an unique sig, as i have never seen one like this before.

ryoji's, as crucif-x stated, has a nice photography theme to it. The necessary elements relating to the ichigo are included (the strawberry, the camcorder view with the battery n recording sign showing junpei's passion of movie-making, and of course the ichigo girls... we can forget about them :P). The fade section doesn't bother me as much, but the further rite end should be a bit more solid, but overall it's a very nice sig

I was also considering crucif-x's sig as well considering that i like type-moon stuff, but i didn't want to make my choice n e harder than it alrdy was :P. But i like it, colours match nicely =D

In the end i choose Bubblemonkey's cuz the monkey looks badass and cool (n the twitching eye... damn that always gets to me)

Bubblemonkey's sig is an eye-catching and looks cool, i think because it is not anime-style pic. Man, you should have this from the start! :D
Good comics-sort-of design, but the monkey's words are a little hard to read, maybe they're too bold.
Animated eye is hilarious though, no sh!t. :D

I like Ryojis and Crucif-x, I went with with Crucif-x at the end. Very nicely done, nice fades, glow effects, good focus point.

Ryojis was really good too. Kept the sig simple but shows you he knows his stuff. You just can't really explain it lol it's really good. Nice job man.

Seriously though the reason i picked "Bubble_Rampage" is because, frankly, most of the entries are, while being quality, boring and same old (sorry guys ;) ). I`ll post my detailed analysis(?) in a couple of days once i get some school-stuff done.

Bubblemonkeeh: nice idea whit those stacked frames. Have you thought about rotating each frame a couple of degrees to make the stack look more...analog? :p

Bubblemonkey sig looks very funny and in the same way interesting,but my vote goes for ryoji's "Ichigokiss" sig.

Overall looks very nice,very well captured,and a plus for that camera look,and for that picture of all Ichigo girls:p

I'll vote in a moment... need to collect my thoughts on this one :D Too many good ones (bad for my .sig which looks poor in comparison apparently XP)

2> Bubblemonkey: I've given crit on this before in the rating thread. The animation is a definite awesome addition though. Shows how even just a relatively minor animation can really bump your creation to "exellent" levels (there look to be a good mix of frames. Good job keeping the eye-twich from getting too repetitive quickly.) Nothing really to complain about :D
3> Nick64: I've already given crit here too... Still like the arrow motif, still like the border not overlapping the char img. Would add a little "ownership" to it, i.e. a name or phrase meaningful to ya, but then again, I think you said this wasn't the .sig you wanted to enter XP
4> Gennocyde: again I've given crit already -_-;; Still like the monochrome backdrop allowing the eye and text to be highlighted by colour. Still think you have a cool scan. Again suggest using a dropshadow on the text to make it stand out a little better. Is a cool dig anyway :D
5> Silver: Ah, finally a sig I haven't done crit on yet ;) First things I like: Cool animation, works well with the colours and backdrop you have going there. I much prefer subtle animations like this than using it as an excuse to have a movie or five sigs in the same space :D I'm a little more confused about the quote and the barcode though. I think I understand the highlighted "47" (silver is element #47 on the periodic table) but they seem less integrated with your subject matter. Still the raindrops are too cool for me to complain too much XP
6> Ryoji: Excellent concept and execution on this one. The video cam concept and strawberry are nice touches that work well with the series your scans are from. I like the rounded edges of your sig too (I prefer to avoid the sharp corners of rectangles if I can, myself). If I could change something, I think I'd probably alter the middle... I personally think that the fade from the girl's hair to the background feels a little weird. I'd rather see a more defined transition there. But that may just be me :D
7> crucif-X: Again a really cool sig. I like the mix of scans and how faded they are. Also like the subtle but noticable placement of your screenname in the background. A different way (other than obvious name, placed to the side or corner) to have it be noticable but not the focus of the sig. Ver' cool. Your fading border is pretty neat as well, but I think I would personally play around with the regularity a little. On the right side, the placement of the border and fades gives the chains a cool foreshortened 3-D feel. You lose that on the left, since the tree is probably not bending away from us. I would suggest putting the whole of the tree over the border instead of partially under as it is now. But that may just be me :D
8> Serj: Augh why no votes for you? huh. Anyway, I've remarked on this before. I really like this sig, I love the vebrant colour, I love the unusual border. Ya know, I have a vote to cast, so I think its going here. Hmph
9> Michael000: Not too much to say here. Is a cool sig. Cool colours... I like the metal-plate feel to it between the colours and bevelling. Scan well matches both the sig and the quote. If I could change something, it would probably be the raindrops. You have good dispersal and variance, you just have limited it to a certain area. I think if you're going to have them at all, they should at least be over the text box, if not the scan as well. IMO, of course :D
10> xtrasuperaw: again a cool sig, no complaints there, except that I have too many cool competitors :D I esp/ like the honeycomb thing you've got going to the left of the character scan. Good job on the text too, readable, but still interesting with different font sizes and such. If I could change something, it would probably be placement. My eyes are usually drawn to foreground objects, of which you really have two: the character and the text. Having one in the middle and one on the right feels unbalanced to me. I'd personally suggest moving the character scan a bit more to the left (its larger so it doesn't need to move too far) to balance it out.

Yeah, that lower right corner looks a bit lonely there dont ya think? I would reconsider the layer positions and try to rearrange em to a better balance (which might be quite difficult because of the dimensions your using in this particular sig). Another thing; the background color is too dominant; it makes the only darker object (the girls) stick out from the sig propably in a way it wasnt designed. You need something to counter this :)

Potentially great sig. Too bad you havent paid enough attention to typography in it. Now the text isnt really text to the observer but more like a red haze that hurts your eyes if you try to read it.

BUT

The image itself is damn cool and above all very suitable sig material (for my taste :p ): Its simple, it has few colors, niiiiice contrast, and its shape gives endless possibilities for sig design. Btw theres some other dude on the background which i think dont belongs there. Maybe im totally wrong, but it seems like you tried to make the other face to counter the guy on the right by inverting its colours...i dont know. But those two nice areas of black and white on the left could be used for text incertion instead of that dude who is btw of totally different style than our hero on the right. Fix that text and maybe add some transparency here and there and you`ll get my vote ;)

To understand the quote and its real purpose right away you have to be a real blade of the immortal -fan :p so i`ll educate the rest of you n00bs:
Manji is an immortal (against hes own will) samurai in feudal japan. In fights he gets cut and beaten to hell but he never dies, which in turn inflicts disbelief and horror on hes opponents. So anyway, in book 2 he gets poisoned and what happens is...

So you see, that chickensoup there represents immortality and that face in the sig, while not from the same chapter or even the same book, expresses perfectly how manji must feel when hes opponents jaws drop of amazement as hes wounds heal up right away...you know..."surprise surprise mofos" :D Ok, maybe i went a little overboard heh

About the barcode: I wanted to counter the feudal-theme whit 21th century digital stuff so i tried gazillion techno fonts but none of em fitted the sig :( then i just thought "why not go digital all the way?" and heres the result :p and yes, 47 is silver`s atomic number.

I dont have much to add to the earlier comments on this sig; its quality-stuff all the way. Great idea and i really love the excellent colour balance. This sig is in perfect harmony whit itself :) But since i always love to complain about things... my beef is whit the area thats left between the center and the photo. I think you should make the girl`s hair more visible to the right so that it would fill that empty space. Then again its propably just me ;)


crucif-X

All i have to say here is, nice stuff. No one could take those elements and make them work better in those dimensions. Theres just one thing i think its missing, and thats deeper contrast on the background and on the girl. It would give the sig more of that feel of mystery it`s all about :p

So why didnt i vote it? I just think its too conservative ;)

Yet another superb entry :D First impression is awesome: those thick, horizontal frames make the sig look wider than it really is and i love it ;) the colours fit the sig perfectly and the use of glow works great on the faces. The whole sig is radiating confidency whit its seemingly simple design and cool characters. Thumbs up!

btw. I had real troubles deciding between this and bubblemonkeys sig.

First thing that caught my attention was those raindrops; you should make em look more random (including their shapes) and adding em on the name plate and on the girls face wouldnt look that bad either, eh? It would be a nice effect on those letters as the water would reshape em here and there. Just a suggestion :p anyway what i think needs work is the background (behind the girl, that is). Now that girl and the background look like one flat object so i`d adjust areas just behind and between her hair to bigger contrast to make her merge from the back leaving a dark and rainy street behind her :p
Btw theres lots of light on her face, so illuminating your nick which is at the front (almost at the direction of the light) might ad a nice touch to the sig, too :) it would balance the sig since now your nick is (IMO) of too dark shade and blends to the background leaving the left side of the sig pretty empty.

btw shes hot ;p

First of all, nice quality graphics. Colors and levels are good. BUUUUUT.... :D you might want to reconsider the font you have used on your nick. Or atleast the font size because now its just too small and hard to read.
The honeycomb-effect on the left looks cool, but does it serve any purpose? Since its blended to the background, it doesnt fill the vacuum between cloud and the left frame. That vacuum needs to be filled :) or you could take stuff away from the right, too :p

Eleven: Think I've already done a crit for yours, but whatever...like the randomized font of the text (goes perfectly with what's being said and the pic) and I love the placement of your name (I actually wouldn't be surprised if I saw this on a keychain or something, it's designed that well).

Bubblemonkey: You suck...'nuff said.

Nick: I'm sure I've said something about yours, and since this wasn't the one you originally wanted to enter, I'll leave it at that and save my comment for your "proper" entry.

Gennocyde: Honestly can't remember if I commented on this one before, so I guess I'll just throw out my impressions from looking at it right now. While I like the concept, there are a few things that don't work that well for me. For one thing, the text just overpowers the pic, and the layered translucent part of the image just doesn't read very well...it looks almost like an artifacting error. A little tweaking, and this could be a very nice sig.

Silver: Love BotI...+1 point. The chicken soup line cracked me up when I saw it...+2 points. The barcode thing kind of confused me (the atomic number of silver? what are we? Chemists? :p )....-4 points. Overall design is really nice...+3 points. It's animated....+100,000,000 points.

ryoji: Never saw ichigo, so I guess a lot of the themes were completely lost on me (like the camera theme and whatnot). Without that reference, it just comes off as a very nice sig...nothing more. I like the integration of the camcorder point of view and the balance of interest between the main kiss and the photo is nice (though my attention does get drawn to the photo a bit more).

crucif-X: Where'd the sig go? That's what I get for procrastinating on making comments...

Serj: Commented on this before, so there really isn't anything more I can say about it. It's just a really nice sig that draws good attention to itself. The color saturation, contrast, everything is really well done. My vote probably would have gone to yours if Silver's animated BotI one hadn't called to me first...chicken soup....HA!.

michel000: Very nice water/metal/glass touches on this sig. There isn't that much going on here, but the image just draws attention to itself and the way the background blends into the hair gives it a subtle and sophisticated look. I can't help but wonder, however, what it would look like with the rain animation that Silver has on his.

xtrasuperaw: Nice sig, though there are a few things that kind of rub me in a funny way. For one thing, all the colors seem kind of bled out of the image, so it kind of looks like it's been in the sun too long. The effects are top notch (the mosaic-like breaks in the left and the weathering on the image), but it, altogether, seems a bit busy and kind of draws attention away from Cloud (don't know if you wanted this or not, but it's just my impression).

Just to clarify on some things on the comments I received:

1. The so called "Honey Comb" effect isn't my doing. It's part of the stock image I got.

2. There is nothing wrong with the pixelated fonts. I set it to None so it shouldn't be that hard to read unless you sit far from your computer. If its your first time reading those font types, that's another story.

3. Unless you go to GR or DeviantArt, then you know what I really did with the signature.

The voting was 8/7 in favor of mine for a few days before and after the voting deadline, though. :confused:

Oh well, whatever...I just wanted critiques anyway, and it's not like ryoji doesn't deserve it. However, to avoid confusion on the next ones, make sure the voting deadline option is checked on the poll. That way, when the deadline is reached, voting is automatically locked and we won't have to worry about late voters.
