No offence is intended to arabic in any way, shape or form, but I've tried in the past ot learn on my own a little of both arabic and japanese (though not both at the same time) and found japanese to be easier. :p

But then, that's probably me. :)

Naw, Arabic grammar isn't THAT hard. It's actually pretty close to English grammar. It's just the damn measure system and weird plurals that screws everybody up.....and the multifunctional prepositions, too. I wish I had an Arabic keyboard function or some kinda Arabic support on my lappy.

My father is from Libanon and I used to know alot of arabic when I was small but now I have forgotten it all :P

I know that "La" means No. And how you say:
(Curses, curses, curses, you have been warned)

F*cking whore! and similar bad words.
Hehe when father gets angry he curses in arabic :P

But I do eat alot of arabic food and I really love it ALOT. :D

I can allso make out the numbers 1-10. But mostly because they are so similar to ours.
And as I recall the arabic people invented our numbers. The number 1 having one having 1 angle (a line with a crook on top). 2 having two angles (like a z) 3 having three angles so on and so on.

for starters, you'll need to pronunce the ش a SH and س S, or write it. took me a while to understand what you wrote. XD but I give you 10 for using al tanween correctly =D

EDIT:
mu'allaqatin should be muta'alqin

My head is doesnt work(or its malfunctioning)

anna mafi mohkI have no brain

Yes shawarma is great but as for biryani I get tired of that stuff since we eat rice almost everyday I get bored of Middle Eastern food. If you like Indian food youll like Middle Eastern food they are very simmilar(In Kuwait mostly) exept less spicy. My favorite food in Arabian countries is probably Lebanese food.

Well it has 28 letters and I know what they are but I cant say them in order. There are letters where many people from non Arab countries cant pronounce (I think its almost impossible for a Japanese person to learn Arabic since they cant even pronounce some English letters).

Anyway even though I'm an Arab I really suck at Arabic I think its really hard especially the grammar. I never read a book in Arabic and never watch the news in Arabic... My little brother(7 years younger) in middle school is better in Arabic than me however I studied in an American school where only one class is Arabic and he studies in an Arabic school where all classes are Arabic exept for English.
I you want to know more about the symbols and letters look here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arabic_alphabet

heh, I did it intentionally
as for the "ras karban" part
I made it popular all around my campus
My arabic teacher always call my deliquent classmates idiots in arabic (forgot how was it said) so I did twist the word to which is literally "head broken"

no, they tought me in my HS, 2nd to 3rd year oh and elementary
since I spent half of my life in the mid east

it's hard to read

that's my opinion

At far, yes that's my opinion too, but when you look at it a little closer... Try memorizing how the strokes are for each letter in the arabic alphabet. The thing is, It's hard to read it anymore when they are all written together like cursive.
