- Story -

The former work and after it becomes Cami, Touuma Hical is a story after about 20 years as for Nenocni.
The adventure drama over two worlds starts rising the act again in the Izumo educational institution.

Eight Takeshi ( ) who commuted to a private Izumo educational institution was enclosed by a lot of people such as sisters in large Togou (Yamato) also who it was a best friend and was the rival of the kendo and childhood friend's swan Cot () and Asuka (Is tomorrow?) and was spending happy every day though was a body of solitary Ten.

The problem happens because Takeshi was chosen as those who participate about the national athletic meeting of the kendo one day. It rather damages the mind of great physical strength though Takeshi who thought great physical strength to be chosen surely in ability shows the will to transfer the participation right to him. In such awkward atmosphere and the Izumo educational institution changes completely suddenly with the earthquake that overcomes it. The teacher and students disappear, school buildings turn into ruins covered with the ivy, and the monster who has not seen everywhere is wandering.

Two people disappear with dazzling light at the moment though it joins companions, and the taking the shape thing that attacks Cot and great physical strength is knocked down with much effort. People who wrap in ancient clothes that appear before town and hard passing the foot where it has disappeared. They will learn to have been rolled in the story where two worlds are turned over before long. Can it return to one's old life really in a hard passing?Great physical strength and Cot that has disappeared on earth : to where.

The Izumo 1 on this dvd, is it identical with the original izumo version? Because i have downloaded izumo 1 before and haven't played it yet. So now i have both versions, the original one and the one on this izumo 2 dvd, i don't know which one i should use.

This one I've explain several time but in other forums or threads. Once this situation occurs, backup save data and check which game's msi file has the same filename as Izumo (the msi file found in Windows\Installer). Uninstall the particular game and install Izumo. This will solve the problem.

Not correct. You still have to play Izumo in order to get clear storyline in Izumo2. It just the Izumo2 DVD (Special Edition) has included Izumo complete where initial release and Dreamcast's Izumo CGs and scenes are included.

So install Izumo and play before going to Izumo 2. :neko:

By the way, does is the storyline of Izumo 0 happen before or after the other Izumo games? One would think it is before because of the name, but maybe it is better to play them in the order they were released?

And last question, is the DVD of History of Izumo worth getting? What I've understood it is some minigames, wallpapers, some extra story to read etc.

For your first question, Izumo0's storyline was set on Japan's Meiji period (1860s). Based on historical period, the sequence of the Izumo series is Izumo0, Izumo then Izumo2. It's not necessary to play Izumo series based on storyline's time frame. My recommendation is based on the games' release date to play. (Observe the characters)

For second question, the DVD from History of Izumo is really an optional to get it but if you prefer much more complete scenes and CGs for Izumo0, then you may try the DVD. As for the book itself, full illustrations on Izumo series (game maps and walkthrough not included), including quick preview of Izumo 2 Gakuen Kyosou Kyaku. However, the book itself contains HCGs which some countries may ban the book.

I downloaded the game a long time ago but just played recently, I have installed the game without problem but something strange happens when the 1st boss use "Deadly Poison" (ﾃﾞﾂ ﾄﾞ ﾘｰ ﾎﾟ ｲ ｽﾞ ﾝ), the characters still move but the monster stops and i con't see the command menu. Has anyone had this problem too?

Edit : It's not a big problem after all, I could kill it before he used Deadly Poison :D. So if you have that problem too, level up at little xD

Have you install patch file before starting the game?

For IZUMO patch files, there're two types:

IZUMO (initial release, latest patch file version: 1.04)

IZUMO (complete version, comes together with IZUMO 2, latest patch file version: 1.11)

I didn't install the patch before playing Izumo 2 ^^. That is probably the reason why it bugged. I have just downloaded the patches but there is an error when I try to install them, probably I should change the place of the game probably. Anyway thank you for the help :).

Edit : I tried to install them but it still didn't work :'(. Could you tell how you installed them please (directory name) ? ^^'

I have installed the game with the installer from the DVD and I succesfully managed to install the patches after the 1.02 :D. It works perfectly now :P.

Does anyone have a walkthrough, and/or save file for the two games? I've gotten so far, but i think i missed some parts and hate to play all over again.

In Izumo (The first one, not second), did anyone manage to defeat the kyuubi on the roof? Died more times than i can count, even after some hardcore training..... Is there any cg for defeating that monster? Or item? If not i don't think it would be worth fighting it at all....

Please check which Studio e.go!'s game installed in your PC. Studio e.go!'s games have problem of MSI files where they are the same filename but different information inside. Uninstall the game inside your PC and the problem will be solved.

Please refer to post #28 of this thread. See which e.go's games Windows Installer stated on the error dialog box and uninstall that game(s) before installing Izumo Zero.
