IIRC, it's illegal in japan to show genital parts. (thanks to an american gouvernor I think)

It really hurt to watch an AV with censorship, especially when the censor cover up half of the entire screen... lol
I've seen it before, it's those AV that have lot of "close up" shooting.

Yes, censorship is plain ridiculous. I think, it is just a form of someone forcing their beliefs onto others is it not? As well as lies and deceit.
Though the next thing I say may imply that I believe in it, NO, I am completely against censorship. It's not helping anyone when they finally encounter these on their own. Sheltering will only create ignorants and butt-end of jokes.
Wasn't censorship originally set to be imposed on the underage population? On the basic TV they watch. So, what the hell is it doing in the the porn side of field?
Because of the over-sensitive sissy wusses of censorship advocate groups, nearly everything offends. We may as well be blind and deaf.

Couldn't agree more, aimed at an adult audience, censoring porn is pretty useless, i mean even censoring the blood out of Naruto is undestandble, even if it is ridiculous, since it is aimed at an audience ranging from age 6 to who knows how old.

Actually if I remember correctly it was an American general (or similar) that
wrote this law during the American occupation of Japan after WW2.
EDIT: Hmm, after doing a quick google-search it seems this law was already
established long before the Americans invaded Japan or WW2, for that matter.

If you want to watch av movies, i think u must watch Uncensored :D. I know one site have movie censored and uncensored with link down free. It is better :D
