I'm quite surprised that noone started a thread about this game...I just finished it today and I must say that it was worth its money. It's a very short game (eleven hours on the first run at normal difficult setting), nor it's particularly innovative, but the story and the graphics make of it a pretty unique experience.
Gameplay wise, Killer 7 isn't very far from Doom. You go around killing creatures that once were human solving simple puzzles, watching disturbing cutscenes and playing with blood and strange visions.
Unfortunately this system is oneof the game's main drawbacks, as:
* all puzzles in normal mode are showed on the map with an hint on what needs to be done though there's no real need for it (I mean, you know that one of your characters is a thief and there's a padlock over a door...mhmmm...what to do?)
* aiming your gun is pretty difficult and sometimes the program won't register what you though were direct hits to the enemies weak points
* the game is pretty repetitive
The story is pretty complicated and sometimes really f*cked up, involving politics, children organs sold in the blackmarket, false angels and a lot of killing. Although there might be games with more blood and exploding limbs, cutscenes and the general outlook of the game make of it one of the most disturbing games I've ever played.
I've discussed with many friends about the game and basically you either love or hate this game, both for its gameplay and cutscene...they're really slow and you have to play the whole game to get a hold of the whole story.
I liked the game, and although I don't think it deserves 8s or 9s like many sites and magazine gave it, it's still an enjoyable game.

I loved the game too. Very nice visual effects and the storyline. The story really makes you think.

Have you beaten Killer 8 mode? I don't know what to do since those red dots can only be shot by Dan's bullet and those require some blood samples. It's hard to collect blood samples in this one because you can't see heaven smile's weak point.

Have you beaten Killer 8 mode?

Nope, I've tried it with the secret character, but never went past the first stage...as the only differencies are in the invisible weak points and that the Smiles kill you in one blow...I didn't found particularly hard to collect blood...weak points are always in the same five spots and the ones on the thigths and the neck are really easy to aim.

6, with two endings. Fortunately enough you'll just have to play the last level again to see the other ending.

Is this game any good?
Or are you just pulling my leg (*please let go*)
I picked up a game magazine and It gave
it a bad review so I decided not to pick
this one up.
But hey, only some off us live by the
book.
And yet others can dream.....

I thought it was a pretty good game, having beaten it on Killer 8 mode. The strongest point about the game is the story and the style of play. Yeah, you run around on a rail system, and the puzzles are easy, but that is not what the Killer 7 experience is all about.

Killer7 is one of those games you hate or you love. I bought it right away even if I don't really like FPS and RE-like games and I was not mistaken...K7 has some weak points, but I've found extremely enjoyable.
You should rent it and play it a couple of hours to really understand if it suits your tastes.

im stuck on a boss because i only realised how to level up my characters by level 3, and im on that machine gun girl in the parking lot i just cant beat her i must of shot her about twenty five times but she will not go down, but the games art is wicked and its a very controversial game i absoulutely love it, im enjoying it more than resident evil 4 to be honest
