So... It seems to me that the anime is finished :(

Personnaly even If I think It is a good ending in some way, to me it's a realy sad ending...

I know there is a film coming out in 2005 I think but does anybody know how it will fit chronologically into the alchemist story??

I saw the trailer in the torrents section but it doesn't say much.. anyway if anyone knows let me know

thanks ;)

I think the movie takes place two years after the end of anime

*SPOILER*

Well I imagine the movie would be a story how Ed and Al try to see each other again, how that will be possible we just have to wait and see.Personally I am really waiting for the movie cause I am huge fan on FMA :D

I liked the series a lot, although thought the second half was somewhat weaker than the first. Maybe the novelty was starting to wear off? I wouldn't mind seeing the movie, except I try and save everything I watch on CD and don't think it would fit. Plus my technical skills are pretty much zilch...

One thing I can tell you about the film, is that judging by the outcome of the plot there's probably going to be a sequel or even a 2nd GIG.

The anime diverged from teh manga somewhere in the middle, the storylines from there are very different. If you liked the anime you really should check out hte manga

I love the series, I kinda liked the movie. The problem I had with the movie is the fact that most of the movie took place outside of the alchemist world, where alchemy doesn't exist. To me, when fullmetal alchemist story mostly takes place where alchemy doesn't exist, the fullmetal alchemist "magic" is somewhat gone. That's what I felt after I watched the movie.
