referer spoofing

Hi HongFire,

If you post a link in the BT site there will be automatically the following link generated: hxxp://bt.hongfire.com/redirect.php?url=
I changed http to hxxp cause otherwise the php script will loop forever if url= null and someone accidently click on it.

My following questions are:

Will this spoof the referer site? (in this case BT site)
And will this method be implented into the forums too? (cause if you post a link like this: www.yahoo.com there will be no redirection at all)

If you want, you can generate spoofed referer links.

http://safeurl.de/
http://anonym.to/

This spoofs your referer from this forum:
Example for safeurl: http://de.safeurl.de/?http://www.yahoo.com
Example for anonym: http://anonym.to/?http://www.yahoo.com

Just change the website you are visiting (in this case www.yahoo.com)
always leave http:// to work correctly.

This way other websites don't find out that we referered from this forum.

This is interesting thanks for letting me know. I will look into this when i have more time. right now i just have to forcus on getting the new tracker to work :)
