View Full Version : Sexy Beach 2 and patches

Hey all,
I have the sexy beach 2 dvd + english patches 1.0 1.1 and 1.2 + the no dvd crack. 2 Problems. One is that I run a Radeon 9600XT from ATI and apparently IllusionSoft games run like (bleep) on ATI Radeon cards. I have the latest drivers but someone in another forum had posted that there is a Radeon patch for the game. Has anyone heard of this?
Problem 2 is that the 1.2 patch is not wanting to install. Say that my version of the .pp file is not recognized. It has been patched with english 1.0 and 1.1, so why would 1.2 not work? Any help would be appreciated!

Beats me.
But the English patches barely translate the ingame text anyway, you're not missing anything.

did you edit something else in those files?like eg:- costumes?
if not then it means either they are corupted after you installed them or the 1.2v you have is
try reinstalling the game and you will know

I realize this is an old thread, but I have the exact same problem. The game crashes on startup, and when I install the radeon fix, it'll prompt me for the disc.. I'm so screwed..
I'm guessing that the english 1.0 patch isn't quite what it should be. Maybe the 1.2 can be installed if you skip the second part of installing 1.0. But that's just theoretical anyway since I can't get it running.
Edit - okay, I tried to install the expansion pack in the hopes it could help me solve the problem, but I can't even mount the image, regardless if I use Daemon or Alcohol. It's a .rar archive, so there shouldn't be a problem with the image file... hmm... :mad: :confused: :mad: :( I only got that viewer thingy to work which I don't really understand.

The Radeon patch re enables censoring, so if you have an uncensor patch it won't work anymore IIRC.
Anyone know where the English Patch v1.0 can be found? can't seem to locate it anywhere.

Ok guys, i found 2 patches...
100%Englhish SB2.zip: Only launch the main menu in english, not the game...
SexyBeach2JapanNomask.zip: This patch remove the mask in the game, it should work in Ati Radeon video cards :eek:
works fine for me :D

i cant get it to run, the radeon patch didnt help, all the other patches that i found on this forum didnt work either
the problem im having is that when i load the game it crashes right after i launch it thru the exe. the menu loads fine but once i choose the settings, it crashes when i launch it
I have a radeon 9800XT running on a p4 2.8GHz

I was wondering. I DLed Sexy Beach 2 before but when I tried to play it some of the sounds were missing. To be more specific, there was NO voice-overs what so ever. Even during the love scenes. Do you think its a problem with my computer or something?

Ok I got this game about a year ago & haven't played it for something like 10 months, not even installed anymore.
I did get a bunch of files for it though, a virus managed to change a bunch of files on June 17th so some stuff wouldn't open anymore & some were still fine.
The files I have here were changed, they are not infected anymore but some might not work
Since I have no interest in finding out which don't work I'll just stick a bunch of useful ones in a zip.

Registration patch?
I think the 2 exe's are the cracked ones
Some other files that I am not sure about.
