today I have no images..all images hosted on hongfire.com are those little red Xs.all others are there avatars ect.anybody having the same or is it just a bad internet day?

I found what's problem of mine,because I'm using Norton Internet Security.I stop it,than seems all images of the site.But I can not always stop it,so those little red [X]s with me evertime.Oh God!

For Norton Internet Security, go to Privacy Control advanced setting. Then add www.hongfire.com to the site list and permit all things. That should solve the problem without having to turn NIS off.

It did not work.
Maybe its because I have Norton Firewall instead but...
I added the url to the trusted zone. It did not work.
I disabled the Personal firewall.
Result - http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v260/raptorfb/NOPICS.jpg
EDIT - Disabling the whole firewall works. Any way to not have to resort to this?
then u need to turn off the Privacy Control

No, don't disable the firewall, just add this site to the list in Privacy Control. You don't have to disable it either. Read my post above for more info.

thats weird i have Norton firewall myself and i have to disable Privacy Control for it to work

The specific setting you're looking at is referrer logging (which needs to be enabled). The servers only accepts image requests with a hongfire.com referrer, presumably to prevent people from linking directly to images in the gallery.

We just adjusted the settings so that you won't have to add hongfire.com to your allow list to view the images. Can someone who had this problem before remove hongfire.com from your allow list and try again see if you can view the image without adding hongfire.com to your allow list? Thanks.

For the past couple of weeks I've been having a problem similar to this but I don't have Norton for a firewall. Ever since the site design changed to this light-blue version I've lost the ability to see any pictures aside from sigs and the advertisment pic at the bottom of the pages. If it's still there I can't even see the pic at the top of the page that had the girl in white with the green background with the word Hongfire in it. It never really bothered me I just quit surfing the gallery considering I couldn't see anything anyway. But lately it's gotten on my nerves and would like to get it resolved.
I surf with Mozilla, run PCcillin 2002 for a firewall (Which is not able to update, could be a factor), Sygate Personall Firewall, and Windows firewall is disabled.
BUT, when I go here on IE the site opens up with the pics it goes back to the older design and all the pics are there and even that background with the little swirlys is there. Right now I've got a white background. I've tried different computers and it's the same on both. I have to assume that the site layout never changed and this version I'm seeing now is a mistake made by the Mozilla browser, but I've no idea how to fix it. Help please?
Are you using "Working offline" ? It'll use the temporary files to open the site without updating any data from the net.
I'm using Opera+Internet explorer , they didn't seem to have any problem...

Pretty sure it's not set on that. I'll check when I get home. At work right now and it now all the the site design is what it should be. I can see pics and everything. I'll try uninstalling the browser when I get home maybe that will fix it.

After I uninstalled Mozilla and reinstalled it, it was still blocking the pictures so I did some scouring in the settings and found out it was blocking the pics from hongfire only. Somehow something went wrong and the browser started blocking the pics.
