If you have an xbox i really recommend this game. I liked it enough that I stayed to watch the credits at the end.

This game sucks ass. Microsoft isn't even distributing this game in their own name in the states. One of the reasons for continued failures for the Xbox in Japan. Trust me, stay away from this game, after a couple days or so, threw mine out, actually broke it and swept it up and then threw it out. Un-cute Pokemon, sort of like Yu-gi-oh, very gay like yu-gi-ou.... :(

Yeah, its either this or Unreal Championship 2, but i heard this game is only going to be 19US, so i might get both. I've played the demo on live, and its alright.

The previews look good and the import reviews gave it decent ratings.

Xbox is deprived of Japanese games (at least in the US), so I'm quite tempted to pick it up.

I swore to myself that I wasn't going to buy any games until the PSP is released, since I've already spent over $400 including 2 games and a 512MB memory stick... But the $19 price tag is giving me the incentive to make an excuse. :rolleyes:

I thought about this myself to pick it up sometime down the road because it reminds me sooo much of Psychic Force, but with the character designs and even in trailers that give you very little gameplay footage, and alot of cutscenes of the same thing, sorta bleh to me.

I suppose it depends on the type of game you want. But damn if you like magic the gathering or games like that this game is for you. I finished the game a while back but i keep playing because there are so many combinations and such. My friends and i keep playing it out as they have their own arsenal's as well now.

I must say i really recommend this game so ill just leave it as try it out if you dont like it so be it.

Bad transvestite character design, costaphobic atmoshere into which one has to go down talking to the same charachters over and over again in a small undergrown basement of sorts after each stupid battle, horrible story by the fact that your charachter is another's imagination of a life past lived, sucks, suck, sucks. Arsenals in the game are basically a rpg card game like pokemon assortment without the cute figures. Like I said before, a clone of yu-gi-ou. If you like yu-gi-ou, you'll love Phantom Dust. I could understand one downloading a torrent of the game and after at the longest a week, realizing how pitiful and looser like it is to play a calibre game like this and therefore throwing it out. But to pay $20 for this P.O.S is crazy. That is half the loot to get a X-bit for your Box, So be it that this game sucks. BTW, this is an an American developed game that was only preset in Japan as an exclusive for Microsoft due to its Yu-gi-Ou card dealing elements. This game failed in Japan, as it will here. It probably only sold about 12 copies in that country at full price, maybe a hundred or so when it was on a 400 yen Akihabura video game store bin. If you like Japanese animation, you are not getting this in this game, just the battle-card blah bull shitto. Oh no, I'm vanishing....I must have been someone else's ogasmic dream. This game sucks ass.

i didnt think it was bad. I really enjoyed the online gameplay on the demo disc.
I guess it is really if you like the somewhat card aspect of it (if there really is one I really couldnt tell).

This game is really good online. The single player isn all that great(its more like a tutorial), but you need to play it so you can buy more cards.

Beat it in 2 days in around 25 hours during the weekend I got it. Game's fun. Of course, I play online now. If you only have offline, then there isn't really a point to collecting the cards.

40 skills can only be obtained online only, and you only get one for winning 30 times, and it's random which one you get. And then you're probably gonna want multiple copies. That's where trading comes in.

This game is actually rooted more in M:tG than YGO. Aura = lands basically.

BTW, if you set your xbox system setting to Japanese, the entire game will be in Japanese as well. Text *and* voices.

Frankly i think this game is worth the money the graphics is considered topnotch and the gameplay reminds me so much of magic:the gathering just that it is in real time now.

I played this game before the usa release and yes it was in english/jap basically no big difference between jap/usa release but the usa release had little more skills in the game. But I thought the game was interesting at first but then it became repeditive rather quickly but if you have a friend playing it's gets better (a little better) but you really can't knock off the graphics too much and it did have a good story plot but the gameplay was too weak to justify the fact to even finish the darn game.

Then I went to play metal wolf before the usa release (is it even out yet?) You play the role of the us president and after 5 mins of the dialogue (It's in english) you wish that you can shoot the secritary because she just wouldn't shut up and quite annoying but you are in a man size mech thingy (I like saying things with thingy!!) the game aint too bad but kind of feel too stale in my book.

Then I played Hello Kitty rescue mission and believe it or not that game is actually pretty good and no I highly doubt that it'll even come to the states even though the game is in 100% english. Man I looove my modded xbox but I really use it mostly for playing mkv,ogm files hehe oh and music too....mmmmm cheap effieciant media pc!! LOL
