Japanese Game Shows...

Hey,

I have heard that thay had or still have vary wiered game shows in japan like women peeing into something to make a machine work and stuff like that but I have never seen one any where does anybody know where i could find one to watch or a name of one.

They still do have weird game shows. Takashi's Castle is a very funny one.
They make the contestants run across a river on stepping stones BUT some of them are fake so they go in the water, thats just one of the things they do on it. If you want to have a great laugh, watch it.

Japanese have too many weird shows to list. One of them is just, *shiver* others are just hilirious and has no point to it whatsoever. Have you guys seen "Lost in Translation"? There's a scene where the main character goes to a show, and the host is just being so fruity. I don't think I ever want to watch japanese game shows.

Kinda Missed the Takeshi's Castle I just hate it when it comes to America and butchered into something crappy like "Most Extreme Elimination Challenge"

I kinda like Trivial Game Shows or cooking shows how about they show "DOTCH"(cooking show) that's a nice one.

When I was in Japan, I saw this very weird show where you moved your hands around in some random order (I guess) sorta like Simon, but it doesnt seem consistent at all! I'll try to dig up a clip...

Yea, those shows can be both hilarious and really odd :). Takeshi's Castle is the best one I've seen so far. I don't know if you could call 'The Iron Chef' a game's show but MAN! that show rocks :D! Other than these I've not seen much game shows except some clips where, for example, two japanese women are wrapped into some weird material which is then squirted off with water guns, haha, that's just stupid.. but I guess others more perverted than me would enjoy it enormously :D!

Takeshi's Castle is awesome, but I'm stuck just watching the American mix with the sound off (since the dubbing is just... dumb).

Any ideas on where to get raws of the show? I've looked around with no success.

takeshi's mxc was a lot funnier than the original takeshi, I mean who wants to hear someone say happy, clappy, jappy, it just isnt funny but the voiceover of mxc is one of the funniest things I've ever seen.
