In your opinion who is better, seed fansubs or A Kingdom & AonE(they do it together). In my opinion I prefer the seed fansubs just because A Kingdom & AonE lag on my comp for some reason, but ya who do you think is better.

Well I would definitely go for A Kingdom & Aone for the fansub of Gundam Seed Destiny... As for why your comp lag might be because of some registry problem with some codecs installed in your comp... Anyway it is up to you as to which fansub you like best...

Any sugestions on how to fix the lag problem if it is the codecs?

read it with VLC Player
search it with google
it can almost read any video format you throws to it

Seed Fansubs.
They produce highquality releases consistently faster than any other group, which hope to get more people dling their subs by subbing faster now and then(like Anime-Chounin).
Their font is simple, but professional-looking. I bet it will show up clearly if played on TV.
They might not stop subbing even after GSD is announced.
A-Keep and Aone are also HQ groups but Akeep doesn't sub licensed series. Although Aone does, it has been pretty slow in subbing its projects. I would gladly use them as alternatives if Seed decides not to sub after GSD's inevitable and eventual license.

I use seed fansubs. they did the best job on the original gundam seed (tho they were *really* slow) so i stuck with them for destiny. I don't mind A-kingdom and Aone's job tho.

I'd say update your codes, defrag your hd, and try a different media player, on my old comp running win 98 divx player works good, when other player don't.
Good Luck,

I like A Kingodm and Aone's job. I watch a lot from them and they are good with pretty much everything they do.

I think you should get yourself a K-lite Codec Pack. You can download it for free from websites. But before you install you better read the "read me" provided when you setup the installer. Read before you install can help preventing codec related problems.

I download the A-kingdom - Aone version, they did a great job at it and I mostly download from Aone anyway so its for convenience too.

Wow just the same here with me... I downloaded the Gundam Seed Destiny from A-Kingdom and Aone cause they are most suitable for this...

AK-Aone for me...decent release speed and quality is acceptable.

Im going for Seed Fansubs (http://seed.eatshoe.com/) it might be true that Aone is putting mutch more work in it but there are usualy glitches in their avi's.

i think iwill go with Aone or Akingdom, cuz their's quality is better. morelikely they are readable. i havent been paying attention to the translation cuz i usually just watch it without the subtitle, since i understand jap. i will pay more attention to that. i am nowing dling both version. for some of the eps so i will tell u guys which one is good at translation.

aone has top notch quality even though they take their time. but you gotta b patient and sacrifaice abit of time for quality.

A-Kingdom-AonE of course! If you experience problems playing their version, you either got a bad computer, or need to update your codec

i have been getting A-Keep, although they're really slow. I haven't watched any yet since I think gundam is a series where u need to watch a crapload for it to get interesting im waiting for at least a full seasons worht, that's 26 eps
AonE-K :) never had a problem with their subs and the quality is great :P
i don't know about AnY but my friend who was staff there told me some weird things about the leader of AnY
The leader said to him (while he was staff) that he should've ripped lunar scripts of Kenran Episode 1-12 (all the episodes Lunar subbed) ofcourse my friend didn't agree with that.
Also the leader told him to warn a person for being arrogant and my friend did... but after that that person left the group and my friend got shouted at for that.
Another thing it seems like a lot of people seem to dislike the leader since he's always complaining or shouting at people.
Last thing... there was no translator for Kurau 14(?) or something... and Kev translated it while he isn't even a translator and he only has little experience of watching anime :S.
So i don't really trust AnY subs, the only thing i have from them is the rest of Kenran episodes... but i won't go for anything else.
Leader = Kev

I prefere Anime Kingdom's fansubs. Though I have to say that I am guilty for getting Seed Subs. Seed Subs aren't bad but I feel the lack something each time I watch them. I watch the A-K and I get a clear idea what I'm not missing. lol. Interesting but it's that feeling that drives me to like certian fan subbers.
Anime Kingdom does pose a clear pitchure as well.

AonE and AKingdom
They are the best, :)

I would perfer to watch SEED-Fansubs over Anime-Kingdom & AonE. A-Kingdom & AonE try to make it simple for us to understand so we can enjoy it. While SEED-Fansubs, if you've already get a clear idea about what UC and C.E. means and you're smart enough already to understand what they're talking about like, "People Liberation Acting Nation of Technology" (It means that they are their own country without any ties to anyone else), then SEED-Fansubs is the way to go. ^_^

When they first came out I used to watch the AonE-A.Kingdom version for the 1st two episodes but when I watched SEED-Fansubs version I preferred their version much better and switched over to them!

And what is with Haro^2-Tori^2? They mostly release their editions one day before seed-fansubs. But im still watching the seed-fs releases because i dont't like having a mixed series :(
what do you think of them?

If I'm not mistaken, Haro

Are they the same as these who fansubbed the last episodes of G Seed? Back then there was a team called Haro-Haro who fansubbed them. That was really good work :)

Seed Fansubs is "supposed" to be the best group to translate Gundam related animes, HOWEVER, their works lack proofreading and there are errors that are too obvious yet still stand uncorrected... that's a drop in quality, so if you want to keep the fansubs, d/l Aone&A-Kingdoms

Haro^2Tori^2 (dont know how to do powers :p ) is a joint project of the 2 groups HaroHaro and ToriTori hence the power of 2 after each name
So im assuming 1 of the groups is the same one your talking about. Honestly had never heard of them before but once A-Kingdom-AonE dropped the project i've been downloading my subs from them. Video quality is good and the subs are perfectly legible so dont see the point in changing.....

my opinion the best fansub for gundam seed destiny is cellphone 2 because i am guaranteed the episode 24hours after the raw episode is release and to me that's important.
Cellphone^2 for the quickie then HaroTori for archive and rewatch.

Currently, I think Haro^2 Tori^2 and Seed-Fansubs both do a good job, I preferred A-Kingdom-Aone version before but they are obviously part of Haro-Tori. Cellphone^2 does a good job speed-subbing too and I watch their releases when I can't wait.

i prefer Seed-Fansubs as well but i will dl cellphone first so i know what happen in that eposide first
TBH speaking from someone who has seen the whole competition and because I watch my fansubs on my Xbox I can reassure everyone that there are no video or audio errors visible in any of the versions I have watched - hence if you experience errors don't blame the fansubbers blame your crappy ass pc.
Well in response to the OP's question, in my opinion it

Already stated this but in case no one know:
Bad new for those who want fast fansubs, Cellphone^2 is disbanding with Episode 39 being their last. Only Haro is left for fast translations and Seed for more technical and late releases.
