Maria Renard, no offense, but this poll is not functioning accurately. The third option offers both the first two option, & viewers cold vote more than one option, which could cause the final result feedback doesn't make any sense. Creating a poll is more than just slapping it with a few choices, it must be planned properly to be effective.

This is one of the more intelligent and friendly forums I've ever been to. Most of the forums I've been seen around before were ruined by perpetual noobs and jerks. In contrast, I come here and find the kind of friendly, helpful community usually found only in populations much smaller than we have here.

Besides, where else am I going to find people to talk with about Key's games? I can't seem to get my RL friends interested in them.

aaaanyways HF is a place that I have found people that have the same interests Anime/games/Hentai/cool CGs :D unfortunetly im moving on saturday so Im gonna be sad a bit :/ the place im moving to have only a 56k connection and im allowed to use it about 1-2 hours every week :/ hopefully Ill get my economy going and will be back within a couple of months but I jus hope u guys wont miss me (aint that active anyways jus like the nice ppl, even thought of making a sig but cant find the pic I want >.<)

I love this site and all it stands for. Sharing is good especially for anime and games that i cannot obtain here in my own country. And the best part is there are so many helpful members here who are willing to take the time and bandwith to find, rip and upload the files and this makes for a thriving community.

I came to this site via a link a while back and never looked back since. Way to go!

Well I gotta be honest with myself on this one.

I once downloaded a few of those hentai encyclopedia collections, and I remembered there was a html file to the site in it.
So yeah first I went here for hentai, but now I hardly download that much.
Downloaded some music, a game but that's it.

For me Hongfire the forum is. A forum ^^

At first i came because i want to downlaod something.If im not mistaken kimiga memories art book[Cgs form the pc game]But at the same time i already join the hf-network on irc.Chat with the community and i found the people chatitng there are open minded and very kind and friendly.At that time i did become a member but i dint post.Starting from Jan2005 i've started posting actively..seeeing that many people in channel on irc do post alot on the forum as well.
So from what i think,Hongfire is not just a torrent site.Its also a community where theres kind and warmth worthy enought to be as friends or [or more].
Thats what i think of Hongfire.^^ :)

To be brutally honest i joined the site to leech off you kind souls that upload some great torrents.

Then after a few downloads i started wandering around the forum a bit and realised that there was more to Hongfire than just a torrent section.
I found out that you were all actually a nice bunch of people to chat with so i decided to stick and try and get involved in activities in the forum, and instead of leeching try and set up a few torrents of my own (which is becoming increasingly difficult with the amount of stuff other users upload, i have nothing new to offer you!)

So for me id say Hongfire is a place to meet new people and share you views and interests with others. And of course my initial purpose of joining, a little bit of downloading in the process :)
