Extracting scripts from games

hey people, i was wondering if anyone know how to extract the scripts from jap games. are there any tools that can be used?

first off i want to extract the script for Da Capo, so any help would be appreciated.

It quite depends on the game, mind you. I haven't looked for source code of such tools, but the archive file formats are generally plain and not too hard to figure out. Of course it's trial and error...
I don't have D.C. but here's an example for another game (namely, My Fair Angel):
