The original record for this a few months ago was a Level 19 Lloyd on MANIA in 90 minutes. Well this guy just completely blows that record out of the water with a Level 13 Zelos on MANIA in half the time. :eek:

frickin A, this video is insane. i think i knew pretty much how he was able to do this all the way. (correct me if im wrong in any of this. =D )

***SPOILER*** well this whole post is!
ok lets start with equipment. I cant read Japanese, but i could tell what he wore from the pictures.
His weapon was the Last Fencer, Zelos' best sword, and thats obtained in the Collisumim against his sister Seles. that might explain why hes lvl 13, had to get XP from those battles.
His Armor was the Golden Armor i beileve, Zelos's best def. Armor, thats bought from the old collector for 100,000 Gald.
His Helm was the Golden Helm, Zelos' best def. Head, i forgot how to obtain this. i think he switched from another Helm that im not familer with.
His Arm and Acc. were always changed from the situation. When Abi was completely open to attack. he switched to the Claw Gauntlet, and 2 Extreme Symbols, which both incease damage. that probably explains his high damage Syndromicon. If Abi attack with a spell, he would keep his Star Shield or Beam Shield, depending on the spell. there were some parts where he had both the Beam and Star Shield equipped. i remember reading that was some sort of Glitch but i dont know if u gain both the effects of both shields. and his Def. Acc. were the gems he got from the pacts and the Extra Dungeon. When he was dodging this attacks, he would have the Tourquise to regain 3% HP/TP, and the Persion Boots to reduce all types of damage by half. probably y he didnt die instantly. I do not know how he was able to absorb some of his magic tho, like explosion.

EX Skills
Not sure on it all but this is what i think he had. these r the Japanese Names.
Immunity, Sky High, and Well Guard. dont know his other one. This would give him Ex Compound Skills for Aerial Guard. there were a few times he was blocking in the air. but there was parts were he was not intruppted by magic. he could have had Suppress Dash which doesnt stun u while dashing. but then i dont know all about the PS2 versions extras.

Items
He had all 6 Gels for use, and some bottle potions. He used them whenever he needed them and the Attack Bottle that temeporalry increases his Attack by 10%. I dont know what bottle he used after he ran out of that tho.

Techs
He used the Techs i used when playing as Zelos. 3hit then Lighting Blade to Super Lighting Blade. 2 times he would do Lighting Blade to Demon Spear. He didnt use any magic as he would not have time to cast it anyway. oh, he used Demon Fang once =O

Abi
Your right Abicion, he does talk trash more then the GC version XD i never saw him cast Indignation Judgment at the very start of the battle. o_0 he casted that spell twice, and he did Lloyd's Falcon Crest twice! i dont know if he does Lloyd's Special move in the GC version. then he does everything else as he does in the GC version.

I think that's pretty much how he was able to beat Abi in 49 mins. >_< nice grade if u ask me. i havent seen that lvl 19 Lloyd battle. got a link?? =) man, his total playtime is 226:33, with 340 encounters. mine is like 151 hrs with over 1000 encounters o_0 Also, Genis, and Lloyd have their very first weapons, and Colette has her 3rd weakest weapon. ^_^ Now i want to try to beat Abi at a low lvl but i think ill be too lazy to set myself up.

Zelos' starting level based on the calculated average number of experience points between the entire party (in fact everybody but the original three characters and Refill and Kratos do, I've experimented myself), which means this guy had to beat Remiel at no higher than Level 15 (:eek: ), and kept Zelos dead the minute he joined so he would never gather experience points.


i havent seen that lvl 19 Lloyd battle. got a link?? =) You're not missing much. It's nearly twice as long as this, recorded off of the GC JP version (read: watered down Abicion) and it didn't even have audio.


i dont know if he does Lloyd's Special move in the GC version. then he does everything else as he does in the GC version.He didn't use Tenshou Souhazan twice.

Here's his pattern on the MANIA setting on the PS2 version:

Full HP: Divine Judgment
3/4 HP: Tenshou Souhazan (which translates to something totally different than "Falcon's Crest," by the way) + Time Stop, plus he starts his little rambling monologue about how he should be thanking you for letting you be his ***** for the second half of the game.
1/2 HP: Indignate Judgment + Meteor Swarm
1/4 HP: Shining Bind + Meteor Swarm + Time Stop
Your right Abicion, he does talk trash more then the GC version XDHe occassionally says "Eat this" (translation, obviously) while concentrating to cast some elemental attack. I've never heard him do that in my GC JP version. Plus he repeats his intro line ("I'll show you my true power..") when he casts Time Stop the second time.

Indignate Judgment was the only HiOugi he head in the GC version, and it even lacked his own personal CG cutaway at that.

Just a note: In the GC version, 5 characters had HiOugi's but only 3 had cutaways to go along with them. In the PS2 version, 11 characters have HiOugi's complete with cutaways.

Time Stop is so scary to me lol when a certain group of 3 familer chars did that on me, i started to panic XD

do u happen to know or have any videos with all 11 chars with HiOugi and their cutaways? i only seen the 3 in the GC version. and who is the 11th char?

and who is the 11th char?The 9 playable characters, Mitos, and Abwhateverion. Why they gave HiOugi art to a tertiary character who is completely disconnect from the main plot (whose death can't be taken cannon even if you wanted to for the simple season that when Abicion buys the farm, Necronomicon disintegrates while in Tales of Phantasia, which takes place thousands of years later, Klarth the Summoner is using Nec as his starting "weapon") is beyond me. Granted, he happens to be the single most powerful being in the entire Symphoniaverse, but still ...

That was some of the most impressive ToS skill i have ever seen, that guy must have been crazy!

I couldn't be bothered to buy the PS2 TOS since I already have the Jap GC TOS. Despite the GC version being "incomplete", it is superior in framerate, loading time and has spell cancel.

4 player does work on Ps2.

what do you mean by incomplete is the gamecube version not the whole game?

Probably referring to the fact that in the PS2 version all the characters have a Hi-Ougi, even Mithos / Botta, and there's more stuff in there that I'm not bothered to delve into ;p

That being said, this is rather easy to do on the Gamecube version sadly, it just requires patience and enough knowledge of what move he is doing or about to do and how you can nullify that attack.

yeah I know the one with the lv 9 sheena,
I've seen a whole lot of those sort of movies, there was a site on wich they stood,
all kind of things, like a (I believe) more then 4000 combo, abyson killed by poison, the final sword dancer killed with like one hit from presea...
not only ToS btw, lots of rpg's.

some of the files are jpg/gif others are movies (note that a lot of them are real media)

some of that stuff is realy amazing, I can't imagine even trying to do such thingd X.X
