I was just poking around this game, and I found it to be very very customisable....and I was wondering if anyone here had the talent to make some anime characters... I figured a family of the Azumanga girls would be pretty amusing myself :p

i been working on making a tenchi muyo family for my sims 2! i got tenchi hpuse and masaki shrine built in game! check out my sims 2 exchange page! http://thesims2.ea.com/mysimpage/uploads.php?user_id=103163 their not the best or not worst but the cast is in progress being made!

If you want to make anime sims you're going to need weird hair/eye colors.
There are some for download (make sure to check "all free" on the left) here:

I've been using some of the skin/hair/eye colors of this site, to make my own anime sims :)

I can barely handle a family of 3, myself. I've also been wanting to try the Azumanga thing, though. It'd be nice if someone made a mod with their school uniform.

Yeah, the school uniform would make it easy.
Surely the Sims 2 allows you to do much wilder hairstyles and eyes, right? Technically you should be able to totally reproduce them as the sims...
The Sims 2 is uninstalled from my pc until I see some new mods/families for download :p

Well, these guys (the creators of RvB) are using the Sims 2 quite to it's full potential. Here's the site (http://thestrangerhood.com/home.php). Maybe we can do something like this, but with Hongfire members. :D

ive seen some skins that have those HUGE anime eyes and lemme tellya, it looks f'n ugly. though its possible. try looking at www.thesimsresource.com check the forums, i think theres some there.
ive modified some (meaning 1) sims 2 skin. its the punk look.
its bloody hard to make new skins since noone has figured out how to make new meshes, so everyone is just "re-skinning" the original ones =(

I uninstalled the Sims 2 until someone comes up with some mods that make me feel like playing it again. That would most certainly need to be something anime-related. Anyone seen any good anime-stuff for Sims 2 yet? Emphasis on good, there were lots of anime stuff for Sims 1 but they were so bad I was better off with the original stuff.

I stopped playing the Sims 2 because of one major flaw in the game. The friends (the NPC and all) that you met in the games will not age. That is kind of stupid. My "son" is all grown up and his friend is still in the teen years. I was lucky he didn't get a girl friend. I hope this flaw is fixed on the updates or expansion pack soon.
